[This is my first solo show in Los Angeles] Ma première Exposition Solo aux États-Unis, c’est très bientôt! Wow!!

Imagine 7 juin 18h00
@artspaceware

Haha🧘‍♀️

I wasn’t gonna post this today but I couldn’t resist. Here’s a glimpse of the pink dining room at @chelsearestaurantsm, our new restaurant project in Santa Monica. More to come ❤️

FEAST YOUR EYES … THE MINIMALISTIC YET ROMANTIC allure of the Dining Room focuses on modern shapes and finishes that reflect and absorb the beautiful changing light and resulting shadows through the traditional arched window by day and create a lux luminosity by night. The sky’s the limit when creating a sumptuous celebration or a simple, sexy dinner for two beneath a radiating flash of light across the desert sky.
The large bespoke, glossy, faux live-edge table appears to have been cut from some enchanted forest while the installation of meteorite-like sculptures by Atticus Adams have befittingly fallen from the fanciful heavens above directly upon their pedestals like hallowed ancient artifacts.

I am certainly looking forward to moving into my new home while I am stationed in #Virginia, but I do miss as well my first house in #Louisiana.

Here are a few photos of a couple of the rooms before I moved all of the #furniture, #art, et cetera out to turn it into a rental property when I went off to Korea.

You can tell I am a big fan of the #midcenturymodern design movement, which is a consistent theme throughout with my art and furniture.

There are also elements of #artdeco, #industrial, and Asian styles within particular rooms, along with certain dominant metals and colors inspired by heraldic #tincture.

Many of the original paintings and furniture pieces were from mid-20th century #artists like #LeonardoNierman or recently commissioned by contemporary artists like Douglas E. Winters of @SkyPonyGallery.

Of course the place also had my classic #USAFA trunk straight from cadet days at the @GloriousOldZoo too.

It took more years than I would like to admit to furnish the rooms while I was being overly picky and the house was essentially empty.

It will be great making another house a home soon.
