And some new work...

"A Certain Slant of Light"
36"x30" Acrylic Mixed Media on Canvas

A contemplative piece I kept returning to to just play and flow until one day it just it felt finished. SO many layers of underpainting play - all other possibilities are of ways it might have gone are included in this final version that felt to me a bit like peering through threes and hanging vines and vibrations of the forest into a light. 5-Ups: Cleaning Up 🌱

There are parts of you you've quietly exiled.

Not gone. Just waiting.

The moment you can name exactly how far you've wandered from yourself — that's not the hard part.

That's already the way home.

Save this to come back to, and share it with someone it might resonate with. 🌿

5-Ups: Growing Up 🌱

You react the same way you did ten years ago.

You know it, even as it's happening.

Maybe it's the tone that creeps in with someone you love. The old defence that shows up before you've even considered to use it. The story you tell yourself, word for word, like you've told it a hundred times before — because you have.

That NOTICING — that's not failure.

It's not a sign you haven't grown at all.

It's the beginning of something new — the moment where The Pattern Gets Seen, instead of just lived.

If this resonates, save it to come back to — and please share it with someone you think it might land for too.

Sharing a short series here over the next few weeks, exploring five dimensions of what it means to grow. "The 5-Ups."

It's part of the architecture that shapes the coaching work I'm doing — grounded in Integral Theory, which holds that real change moves through several distinct dimensions, not just one. Insight alone isn't enough. Neither is shadow work, or presence, on their own.

Growth itself isn't a straight line from where you are to where you're yearning to go. It moves more like a spiral — the same ground revisited again and again, each time with a little more capacity to meet it. Wholeness asks something of all of them.

First up: Waking Up
— that moment of seeing yourself clearly.

Small. Quiet. Doesn't last long.

But everything else starts there.

If this resonates, save it to come back to — and please share it with someone you think it might land for too.

A BIT OF NEWS — AND AN INVITATION 🌱
Last year, after completing the ACM level in my Integral Coaching training, I shared a little about this path I've been walking alongside my art practice.

Since then, I've continued deepening my training through PCM and now into practicum — and I'm ready to bring this work forward.

I will be posting regularly to share some taste of what this beautiful method of whole-person coaching is about.

This isn't advice-giving. It's a collaborative, finite process to understand and honour your current way of being, uncover what's keeping you stuck, and build the capacity to transcend and include that current way as you move toward a new way you're yearning for.

Beyond my certification requirements, I'm choosing to open two spots for a 7-session coaching partnership over the next five months - very approachable work at a very accessible price.

A Note: for this work to hold its integrity, I'm looking to partner with people outside my existing circle — so if you've been following my art journey but we don't know each other well, this may be a wonderful place to begin.

If this stirs something in you, I'd be honoured to talk.
