2nd Olympics 🫶🏼
What a roller-coaster this has been.

First, thank you @olympicmas - especially Tan Sri Norza and Mr. Fong Wan Hor for your support and kind words of encouragement. I am looking forward to seeing what the future holds for Malaysian winter sports!
Next, thanks to my coach Kai for all your efforts and hard work behind the scenes. There's a lot that I couldn't do without your help.
Mom, dad, you guys have been here every step of the way, you know I'm grateful for everything you've done every day.
And of course, thanks to all of you who supported me! I'm so grateful I got to stand out here once again on this stage representing the different parts of me - Malaysia, Bham, SPAC, Vail, you name it.

I've honestly had a time. Figuring out what comes next, learning more about myself, my limits, and what I want to keep pushing for. This was a good one to take a big step back and reset, because my season isn't over yet.

Aruwin Salehhuddin learned to ski before she could read.

Born in America to Malaysian parents, she became Malaysia’s first female Winter Olympian at 17, then returned for her second Winter Olympics in 2026.

With no national alpine skiing programme, her journey has involved self-funding, injuries, and financial challenges.

But she continues to represent a country without snow, proving that geography doesn’t have to define the size of a dream. by @aruwin.sal

Dear Malaysia,

Thank you for the opportunity a little girl could only ever dream of. For giving me a chance to bring Malaysia to the Olympic stage in winter sports, and to show that even with one person, we were there.

Selamat Hari Merdeka ❤️
