I enjoyed a great interview at CJSR with @asad_ch. We talked about storytelling versus reporting, extractive journalism, sports, and teaching and learning about the craft.

Plus of course the new podcast, Separation Anxiety.

The Edmonton Police Commission Oversight Committee has banned public input portion of their monthly meetings. Why? They felt they were being bullied. The truth is we were bringing up concerns about Warren going to the bad place and they didn’t like that. We’re here guys. Say goodbye to your freedoms.

Re: Alberta Provincial Bill 11, Two-Tier Healthcare

When Provinces Go Rogue on Healthcare is a panel discussion the newsroom Press Progress organized earlier this summer. It was moderated by reporter Brishti Basu, @brishtireports.

@friendsofcjsr broadcast it and it is available under ‘On Demand’ digitally at cjsr dot com. Also, wherever you get your podcasts. by @asad_ch
