at the top of the year , i actually struggled with a su*cide attempt. & now that im 6 months from that experience, removed myself from the home i was living in, the job i was working AND stored hanging around the people i LOVEE that could not stop complaining

ITS LIKE A WEIGHT HAS BEEN LIFTED OFF MY CHEST!

i just realized, i went through a really big ordeal these last few weeks yet i was never depressed. & that's on the COMMUNITY. i am being so intentional about the energy i am absorbing, the people i keep around and things i soak into existence.

as i settle into my new home , new position and new found love, i realize that life is only as good as the people you keep in your corner.

AND I AM BEYOND BLESSED

16 days , a trip to the lake, a workshop, new job and stress vomiting until blood came up... I AM SO FCKN PROUD OF MYSELF

in a world where we are taught to settle, where we are pushed to make hasty decisions ever so often in the name of what's easiest and not what we actually want.... i held out for my truest desire.

i'm now in a studio apartment downtown, dishwasher, in unit washer and dryer + NO ROOOOMATES

now, did this happen free from all strife? absolutely not. want all the messy in between????? stay tuned😈 actually i'm feeling messy and ima tell it ALLLLLL

Her work is a vibrant and eclectic space that showcases a wide range of art forms, from press-on nails to streetwear to paintings. She has curated & hand crafted custom denim pieces & press-on nails for nearly a decade, bringing her boundless creativity to one place, creating a truly unique and inspiring experience for all!

Tyler Belizaire Brooklyn, 2001 is a self-taught artist of Haitian descent, currently based in Pittsburgh, PA. Tyler uses a wide range of paints to create emotional and surreal depictions. Tyler has exhibited his work at; the Redfishbowl Gallery (currently), Oat Milk x Hxny (2024), Honest Works (2024), Mythos Art Show (2024), Unsettled 2 (2024), Monochrome Art Showcase (2024), participated in The Future is Black fellowship program (2024).

UNSTABLE IS FOUNDED BY OUR CEO/FOUNDER GRIFFIN WILSON. GRIFFIN WAS BORN AND RAISED IN PITTSBURGH, PA WHERE THERE WASN’T VERY MUCH REPRESENTATION OF BLACK CREATIVES ESPECIALLY BLACK OWNED BRANDS & DESIGNERS. AT A YOUNG AGE, HE KNEW HE WANTED TO CHANGE THAT. FASHION ALWAYS PLAYED A HUGE PART IN GRIFFIN’S LIFE! FASHION WAS HIS PASSION, WHEN THE OTHER KIDS IN HIGH SCHOOL WERE APPLYING FOR COLLEGE, GRIFFIN KNEW HE WANTED TO FOCUS ON BECOMING A FASHION DESIGNER. ART SCHOOL WAS TOO EXPENSIVE FOR HIM SO HE WENT A DIFFERENT ROUTE, HE GOT HIS EXPERIENCE BY WORKING IN RETAIL. IT WASN’T UNTIL HE STARTED WORKING AT NORDSTROM IS WHEN HE FELT CLOSER AND CLOSER TO HIS DREAM OF BECOMING A DESIGNER. HE BECAME MORE FAMILIAR WITH WOMENSWEAR & MENSWEAR JUST FROM STYLING HIS CLIENTS WHO SHOPPED WITH HIM EXCLUSIVELY. HE WAS THE TOP SELLER IN HIS DEPARTMENT, HE WON AWARDS, HIS FACE WAS PLASTERED ON A WALL WITH THE OTHER TOP SELLERS WHO WORKED IN THE STORE. HE KNEW THIS WASN’T THE END THOUGH, HIS DREAM WAS STILL ON HIS MIND DAILY. H by @asajeanz
