Let’s get a jump on this, club kids & techno baddies: On Saturday Oct 24 it’s professor versus protege at the next Cherry Bomb. 🍒💣

Far before he became a member of The MoB, we were a fan of hip-hop artist & songwriter @mannydibiachi. Not just because of his top-tier stage presence and vicious wordplay, but also his impressive ear and musicality. When he expressed a desire to add deejaying to his portfolio of talents, @hunyrocks was all too willing to take him on as her first (and to-date *only*) mentee. Since then he’s been smashing gigs all over the city, including DVF, our Cobra finale, and twice at Cherry Bomb Day Party. 🧨

That said, it only makes sense that we finally welcome him to join his mentor on the decks at OG Cherry Bomb. Expect ENERGY. Expect CUNT. And, of course, expect to dance HARD. 🙌🏾💅🏾

This one is going to eat down. HUNY XO x Manny Dibiachi: 10/24, 9pm-2am, at @spiritpgh. $10 adv/$15 door (🎟️ in bio) 💥

Hi friends! I’m hosting a Pop-up shop for this month’s gallery crawl, this will serve as an opportunity to meet and shop with the exhibiting artists! After receiving lots of good feedback & requests, I decided to bring PATCHWERK back for this month too! Join us for a night of fun, creativity & shopping✨

Swipe to meet the artists➡️

Asa Jeanz, our multihyphenate artist whose creativity knows no bounds! Her work is a vibrant and eclectic space that showcases a wide range of art forms, from press-on nails to streetwear to paintings. She has curated & hand crafted custom denim pieces & press-on nails for nearly a decade, bringing her boundless creativity to one place, creating a truly unique and inspiring experience for all!

Tyler Belizaire Brooklyn, 2001 is a self-taught artist of Haitian descent, currently based in Pittsburgh, PA. Tyler uses a wide range of paints to create emotional and surreal depictions. Tyler has exhibited his work at; the Redfishbowl Gallery (currently), Oat Milk x Hxny (2024), Honest Works (2024), Mythos Art Show (2024), Unsettled 2 (2024), Monochrome Art Showcase (2024), participated in The Future is Black fellowship program (2024).

UNSTABLE IS FOUNDED BY OUR CEO/FOUNDER GRIFFIN WILSON. GRIFFIN WAS BORN AND RAISED IN PITTSBURGH, PA WHERE THERE WASN’T VERY MUCH REPRESENTATION OF BLACK CREATIVES ESPECIALLY BLACK OWNED BRANDS & DESIGNERS. AT A YOUNG AGE, HE KNEW HE WANTED TO CHANGE THAT. FASHION ALWAYS PLAYED A HUGE PART IN GRIFFIN’S LIFE! FASHION WAS HIS PASSION, WHEN THE OTHER KIDS IN HIGH SCHOOL WERE APPLYING FOR COLLEGE, GRIFFIN KNEW HE WANTED TO FOCUS ON BECOMING A FASHION DESIGNER. ART SCHOOL WAS TOO EXPENSIVE FOR HIM SO HE WENT A DIFFERENT ROUTE, HE GOT HIS EXPERIENCE BY WORKING IN RETAIL. IT WASN’T UNTIL HE STARTED WORKING AT NORDSTROM IS WHEN HE FELT CLOSER AND CLOSER TO HIS DREAM OF BECOMING A DESIGNER. HE BECAME MORE FAMILIAR WITH WOMENSWEAR & MENSWEAR JUST FROM STYLING HIS CLIENTS WHO SHOPPED WITH HIM EXCLUSIVELY. HE WAS THE TOP SELLER IN HIS DEPARTMENT, HE WON AWARDS, HIS FACE WAS PLASTERED ON A WALL WITH THE OTHER TOP SELLERS WHO WORKED IN THE STORE. HE KNEW THIS WASN’T THE END THOUGH, HIS DREAM WAS STILL ON HIS MIND DAILY. H

Club kids, you ‘bout to have it all: an all Cherry Bomb everything weekend kicks off less than 2 weeks from now when Baltimore deejay, producer, and Black queer icon SDOT (@s.dotmusic) makes his Pittsburgh debut. 🍒💣

On Friday Sept 25 our cunty techno dance hard party enters the Fall season when resident @hunyrocks is joined by this *wildly* accomplished mainstay of the global club circuit. We actually feel very comfy calling SDOT your favorite DJ’s favorite DJ because the selectors werking underground nightlife to a frenzy right now all have at least one SDOT track locked and loaded. Pure effing fire, trust that 🧨

And the very next day, 9/26, Cherry Bomb Day Party delivers 6 hours of house music in the sun. Maybe we were supposed to get rained out just so the full Cherry Bomb fantasy could be achieved over just one weekend.💥

Hosted by the booth bunnies @asajeanz, @gee.bee.412, @sarahquiana, & @terrez_000 🐰

The oonz oonz is Black AF. All killer no filler. $10 in advance or $15 at the door. 🎟️ in bio!

September is Suicide Prevention & Awareness Month. 💜
•
I know what it feels like to reach a place where I didn’t think I would make it through. 27 years in, surviving a suicide attempt, I look around at the trees, the sky, the people I love, and realize how many moments I would’ve never gotten to experience if my story had ended there…
Nature has become one of the places that reminds me to come back to myself.
To breathe.
To feel the ground beneath me. And being surrounded by people who genuinely love me reminds me that even when my mind tells me I’m alone, I don’t have to carry everything alone.
•
This is also for every beautiful soul who didn’t make it through their battle.
You are remembered.
You are loved.
You are missed.

We carry you with us. 🤍

Please check on the people you love, especially the ones who seem “strong.” Sit outside. Hug somebody. Call somebody. Stay another day.🫶🏽

If you or someone you love is struggling, call or text 988 in the U.S. for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
