The kitchen moves like a symphony—each moment deliberate, each sound a note in a song that only the walls, the food, and the people in it truly understand. There’s no music over this footage for a reason—because the real soundtrack of the supper club is the heart of the kitchen.

Every dish I serve carries intention—from what I choose at the market to how it’s plated, to the way we welcome you into the space. The table is never just a table. It begins with smoke + salt.

Installment No. 003 of the G+S Supper Club opens with flame-kissed Murder Point oysters — briny, buttery, and grilled to perfection. It’s the kind of bite that reminds you why the Gulf is home.

Then, we go deeper — into charred romaine, creamy housemade Caesar, and the kind of crunch that only sourdough croutons and crispy capers can bring. A salad, yes. But not one you’ve had before.

The main course is where things heat up. Crispy-skinned salmon rests on a bed of jasmine rice, bathed in a velvety roasted red pepper and Calabrian chili cream. It’s bold, elegant, and just the right amount of spicy.

And just when you think it’s over — there’s cobbler. Warm, golden, and bubbling with sweet Alabama peaches, tucked beneath a biscuit crust and crowned with vanilla bean ice cream and bourbon caramel.

There was a time when the table was sacred—a place where stories were passed down, laughter echoed, and the act of sharing a meal was an unspoken love language. Somewhere along the way, we lost that. Screens replaced eye contact. Fast food replaced intention. But at the G+S Supper Club, we’re bringing it back.

This isn’t just dinner. It’s an experience—one where every detail is curated with intention. From a menu rooted in clean, bold flavors to wine pairings that elevate every bite, from the tablescape adorned with fresh fruits and vegetables to the music and guided conversation that weave connection into the night.

STORY TIME: There was a moment, not too long ago, when I stood in this kitchen, completely still, asking myself a question I wasn’t sure I was ready to answer: “Am I really a chef?” It felt too big, too official, too… something I wasn’t sure I could claim.

I needed to know, what makes someone a chef? Titles? Culinary school? That unteachable je ne sais quoi? And as I scrolled through articles + reflected on my own journey, it hit me: I’ve been a chef.

God had been preparing me for this moment my entire life. From working in the industry since the age of 16, to owning @gingerandspicelife, I’ve been in the food and beverage industry—learning the ropes, sweating it out in kitchens, and understanding the heart of hospitality. In 2017, I created my first A Seat at the Table (@asattdinner) communal dinner concept while living in Washington, D.C., which wasn’t just about food; it was about community, creativity, and connection.

Since then, I’ve hosted more dinners than I can count, partnered in launching multiple food + beverage concepts, and poured my soul into creating experiences that nourish people—mind, body + spirit.

And yet, I found myself questioning my chefness. Isn’t that wild?

In the quiet, God whispered to me, “This is what you’re called to do. Step into it fully.” So here I am. Stepping. Fully. This supper club isn’t just another dinner; it’s a culmination of everything I’ve worked toward, every lesson I’ve learned, every risk I’ve taken to follow my passion. It’s my way of creating a seat at the table—for you, for me, for the community we’re building.

A Seat at the Table, oh how I’ve missed you! Last week I had an opportunity to blow the dust off of my very first business, which was created to inspire community centered around communal dining…dinner with strangers if you will.

It was my first time being the host and the Chef, which was so flattering because of all the compliments I received about the overall experience and delicious food. Thank you @kimkthegoalgetter + @chateaudemardi for hosting alongside me. So grateful that I don’t have to convince you to step in the ring with me.

To everyone who came, I’m so honored to have met and dined with you. Real relationships, with self + others, start at my table. Thank you for sharing space with us and being open to welcome community into your heart!
