As they were for so many, SOIA and Lou’s voice were hugely influential for us fellas in As Friends Rust. Here’s our take on “Friends Like You” — captured a few weeks ago in the throes of reflection. Hear it wherever you music. Hardcore forever. by @asfriendsrust

Stoked to have some As Friends Rust shots in this very cool video for an installment of Marshall’s Dead Venue Sessions focused on Philadelphia’s Stalag 13 — a very cool series that remembers some of the US’s most iconic dead venues, and raises awareness of the importance of live music spaces. These photos are stamped September 20, 2000, but the itinerary on slide 3 doesn’t (yet) show a booking for that date. [Edit: venue identified as Stattbahnhof in Schweinfurt, DE] 🚐 Back-to-back AFR and Bridgeburner tours, both of which would prove disastrous to band lineups, friendships, one of James’ legs, several vans and one molar. But hey, at least we lost money. taken in Europe by @asfriendsrust
