This week on eTown, Ásgeir performed “King And Cross,” coming off his album In the Silence.

Originally recorded in Icelandic, the song found an international audience after John Grant translated the lyrics into English, and we’re grateful to have Ásgeir on this week’s broadcast and to share this performance with you.

Hear more of his music and conversation with Nick in the full episode, linked in our bio. taken in eTown Hall by @asgeirmusic

Was a tourist in my own country for a day. Drove up to the highlands with a great group of friends and had hamburgers on a field of moss while looking at glaciers in the distance.
