I've been on holidays for almost a month through Hong Kong, Japan and Korea and these are the things I didn't leave my Airbnb or hotel without.

Is it worth staying on Miyajima Island?

Absolutely.
The O-Torii gate was PACKED all day while we were there. All the way up to sunset and even well past it.

We were one of the first people there that morning. That moment was truly special.

You can see how busy it got towards the end of the video so being able to experience the quiet prior to everyone arriving was amazing. taken in Miyajima Island by @ash__pike

SKIP THE YATAI STALLS!!!
We were walking along the waterside Yatai stalls in Fukuoka and they were PACKED.

We were already starving so we weren't really keen to line up with everyone else so we went for a stroll and came across Sushi Shougun.
Handmade sushi right in front of you. Worth it every time.
