Working with my hands is hard sometimes. Some days they hurt. Some days my whole body hurts. But it feels honest. It feels like dignified work (which I believe most work is). Either a knife is sharp or it isn’t, there’s no hiding it. Either a blade feels good to use or it doesn’t. Some of that is subjective, sure, but a lot of it isn’t. Not everyone sees value in my work and that’s ok. I’m still lucky to be able to do work like this, work that feels good to do even when it hurts. Thank you to everyone’s continued support, it really means the world.
