POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Films about people who do incredible things with their hands are even better when some of those people show up and do… well, some incredible stuff with their hands.

Today’s CUT TO event brought three Indiana short documentaries to the screen at Logan Street Theater: stories about craft, carving, cutting, and the relationships people form with the things they make.

Then we got to carry some of those conversations beyond the screen, out onto the porch and sidewalk. What a perfect fall day!

Thanks to the filmmakers, makers, and everyone who spent part of their Sunday with us.

This is exactly the kind of thing we hoped might happen here.

Wonder lives on Logan Street.

September is here!

While we’re not quite ready for the Grand Opening of Logan Street Theater, we thought we could start putting at least a few things on the calendar.

Think of September as a little preview of what’s to come — and a chance for us to test out some programming, gather some feedback, and welcome some of you into the theater along the way.

So, we’ve got a nice variety...

A 100-year-old silent film. An evening of live music. Three short documentaries about Indiana makers, followed by a filmmaker Q&A and live knife-sharpening demonstration.

There’s something for everyone… and quite possibly three things for a lot of you.

🎞️ DANCING MOTHERS | Vintage Film Series
Saturday, September 19 • 7 PM
A 1926 silent drama starring Alice Joyce and Clara Bow, presented on the big screen with live musical accompaniment.

🎵 NAOMI GRAY | Live Concert
Saturday, September 26 • 6 PM
An evening of song with talented Noblesville native Naomi Gray.

🔪 CUT TO: 3 Short Films on Craft, Carving, & Cutting
Sunday, September 27 • 2:30 PM
Three short documentaries about Indiana makers and their relationships with craft and materials, followed by a filmmaker Q&A and live knife-sharpening demonstration.

Three very different events. Three chances to come inside, see what we’re building, and discover the wonder on Logan Street.

Tickets for all three events are available now at loganstreettheater.com.

That's a wrap on Gen Con 2025! What an amazing four days for us here at Meadowlark.

While we have plenty to share over the coming days with our hauls, new game reviews, and more. Most of our time was spent running Pirate Borg for and with so many wonderful people. Here's a little Pirate Borg love to end our Con.

What was your favorite game you got to play this year?

Item enhancements 🗡️. As the kind and generous DM that you are, you're always making sure your players are getting new and improved weapons, shields, spells, and more. But, don't fall into the trap of thinking newer is better. Instead, focus on enhancing and upgrading items that players have become attached to and let their favorite things grow alongside them.

The second half of 2025 is looking like it's going to be a wild ride. Are you ready to join the adventure?
