What a week! I still can’t quite believe that my very first ‘Ashford Connect’ event is officially over. What started as an idea has now become something real, and seeing so many incredible women come together under one roof meant more than I can put into words.

Thank you to every single person who bought a ticket, showed up, supported, encouraged me, shared the event, or simply believed in the vision. You’ve helped me take the first step in building something I truly hope will become a special community.

A huge thank you to my amazing @eventsbylauneden team, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes. Your support, patience and hard work made the day possible, and I’m so grateful I had you by my side.

To all of our partners and everyone who played a part - thank you for trusting me and helping bring this event to life.

It’s been one of the busiest (and most rewarding!) weeks I’ve had in a long time, and now I’m looking forward to a little time to rest, recharge and reflect before planning what’s next.

What’s the first thing you notice when you see a photo of yourself?

For me, it’s always my hair (fine hair girls will understand 🫠).

But everyone’s focus point is different - and that’s exactly why it matters.

Because the thing you notice first? That’s the thing I want to be mindful of when I’m shooting and editing your images.

Whether it’s your smile, your skin, your posture, or something else entirely - it shapes how you experience your photos.

Last week at the Manifest x Solace ‘Glow, flow & matcha’ event, I slowed all the way down - through soft movement, grounding breathwork, and the most calming sound bath.

As a mum and a small business owner, it’s so easy to forget what stillness actually feels like… until you give yourself permission to pause. I left feeling lighter, clearer, and genuinely recharged - the kind of reset that lingers long after.

There’s something powerful about being in a room full of women who really know skin…

As a content creator, I’m usually behind the lens - but at the @skinandsix ‘Coffee Morning’ I got to do both: capture the moment and absorb so much insight into the latest in skin health, aesthetics, and innovation.

From advanced treatments to the science behind truly effective skincare, it was a reminder that great skin isn’t about trends - it’s about knowledge, consistency, and expert-led care.

Working as a hybrid shooter for this event felt effortless with such an inspiring team. The energy, the intention, the attention to detail, everything aligned.

So grateful to have worked with the incredible Bianca & Laura behind Skin & Six — and this definitely feels like the beginning of something special!
