Not everybody can be a Victoria’s Secret model, but hair stylists can make you feel like a Victoria’s Secret angel with those iconic bouncy blowouts🪽

To every other stylist spending time perfecting this bombshell blowout technique… your hands are doing the real magic behind the chair.

Back behind the chair and back to doing what I love: timeless color, long layers and a seamless blowout

Stop to see some stylist outfits of the day inspiration (fall edition)…

Being away makes me appreciate this salon and community even more 🤎 So naturally, I’m using my 1st day back as an excuse to show off our fall fits.

Let us know whose ootd you’re taking inspo from for your next appointment!

Transformations like this make me so excited to get back behind the chair ♡

If you’ve been thinking of falling for the “go darker” propaganda this season…
let this be your sign to listen to your gut and maybe give the bleach a break (opt for a gloss instead).

Sometimes hair just needs a breath of fresh air. So we kept the dimensional highlights and refreshed them with a new gloss formula for our brunettes.

Hello New York!

While I’m stepping away from behind the chair, I thought I’d share a look into my camera roll from our girls trip to NYC.

As much as I love the salon, there is nothing like trading San Diego heat for New York in autumn.

If you are planning a trip to the city this season and need a New York rec let your girl know, this trip was one for the books (broken back and all) 🍎

Hairstylists, tell me if I’m wrong, but no product gives the exact same effect as the layered blowout inspo clients get from Pinterest.

Save this for when you need the real secret behind a bouncy blowout. It’s all in the cut, and long layers paired with face-framing starting at the chin is a good place to start.

Don’t get me wrong, the girls at the salon know @oribe products are unmatched for perfecting a blowout ♥️

But, it’s good to build that foundation with layers 1st, and then let the product lock it in.

An unpopular opinion about extensions from a hairstylist (and salon owner)… or not 〰️

Everyone knows how much I love my extension girls, but the sweetest compliment a hair stylist can get is: “I didn’t even know she had extensions.”

To every stylist out there spending time perfecting their seamless blend and building their clients’ confidence behind the chair, know that your detail work seriously matters 🤍

Going from blonde to warm brunette is a huge leap of faith (especially when you’re trying to live up to an Ariana Madix photo)… but losing that summer blonde is always a jump.

Trusting the process from blonde to brunette is hard, but seeing an inspo VS final result look this good makes it worth it 🤎

The goal wasn’t just to make her dark〰️it was to give her a warm, dimensional brunette that actually matched @arianamadix without killing her hair.

Hot take from a salon owner.. or not? Let me know if I’m biased, but I don’t treat hair care as an optional luxury.

〰️I know life is expensive, and an in salon transformation isn’t always in the budget. Taking care of your hair doesn’t always have to mean a $300 service. Sometimes it’s just giving the hair you have a little extra love at home a consistent wash day and whatever good product fits your budget.

Your hair is the one thing you wear every single day. It’s important to invest in it!

🤍Quick side note for my fellow stylists or clients: my ShopMy has a couple products I swear by across different price points so you can easily save/send recs (Link is in the bio)

Nothing on the menu but good hair 🤌🏼

Behind every seamless blend and bouncy blowout is the foils, the formulas, the toning, the round brushes, and the rollers…

This is for the stylists who know the behind-the-chair work is half the fun 🤎 Me cooking VS Me eating trend (but hair stylist edition)

What’s your favorite part of the process?: coloring, styling, or the reveal?

〰️ Girls will wake up on a random day and decide to change everything about themselves … a hairstylist take on the trend.

Tell me we’re not the only salon getting those spontaneous “Any availability?” texts on a random Tuesday 💬 (We secretly love them, keep ’em coming)

Anyways, still so obsessed with this before and after. Sometimes a random day really does call for a fresh cut + dimensional highlights 🤍

3: Has to be a chic bouncy blowout 〰️

You don’t need an event on the calendar or a special occasion coming up to justify getting a professional blowout…

A good blowout isn’t just about looking styled for a few hours. It’s about having a couple days of zero effort hair, extending your wash days, and taking an hour out of your week to just relax while someone else does the work.
