At two in the middle of the night, after days of wrestling with AI, and a graveyard of prompts, finally starting to get somewhat consistent storyboards the way I what ☺️⁣

I have been playing with AI image generation for a while now. So when I got my hands on a thermal printer, I wanted to see if I could use AI to translate photos into something that plays to the strengths of the medium. And in the process maybe create something new. ⁣
⁣
I haven't seen many people try this. So I thought I'd post about it. ⁣
⁣
One of the photos I had on my phone that I had taken some time back was this photo of a lighthouse. I put it into ChatGPT's free Go plan and asked it to transform the image into an ink sketch. ⁣
⁣
There was a lot of trial and error, back and forth printing, scanning, analysing, before I got it to a point where the AI was creating images that printed as I wanted it to on thermal.⁣
⁣
I have attached all three images (the original lighthouse photo, the ChatGPT-transformed ink sketch and a photo of the thermal print) here for you to go through and compare for yourselves. I have also added a couple of other images from my scrapbook that I had similarly transformed and printed.⁣
⁣
I would love to know your thoughts on the results, the process, and, if you have tried something similar, how the results were.⁣

I had my smartwatch on while I was watching Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. The next day, when I synced it to my phone, it said that at around 7:45 PM, I had fallen asleep. But I hadn’t.⁣
⁣
After the commercials and everything, The Odyssey actually started around 7:40. That is precisely when my smartwatch said I fell asleep.⁣
⁣
Curious why this was so, I checked the heartbeat it had tracked during these times. My heartbeat had a steady rhythm throughout the time I was watching The Odyssey. by @ashiksatheesh
