When the director tries a hand at art direction. Maybe better left to the experts.

When the actress became the light boy, and the director pocked his mouth.

The thing I love the most is learning and growing, followed by spending time with wonderful people. This is why I love attending seminars and workshops!
.
.
This one happened last weekend. It was organised by @ttt_official and @noshhaus. Both Saturday and Sunday had two separate workshops, conducted by @iammojojojoe.
.
.
I had first heard of Terribly Tiny Tales (TTT) around the time it started, 6 years ago. Had seen few of their short films as well. But somewhere I lost following their feed.
.
.
It was one of my students that sent me the link to the workshop. I registered immediately.
.
.
There were people of all ages. There was a girl who was 16 and a man in his 60s! There were people who came from far away places like Malappuram and Panthalam just to attend the session!
.
.
Though I’ve been studying writing and writing for years now, writing a story in 140 characters was something I was looking forward to learn. And who better than TTT!
.
.
The instructor Joel has been writing such tales for years and his experience and the prompts he gave got all our creative juices flowing.
.
.
The second workshop on short story writing was equally productive. Though I got bored listening to the same introduction again, it was nonetheless more fun for me. My writing generally tend to go into the novella word count.
.
.
I did not know that TTT now had an app that let everyone write. I did not know how far they have come as a media house in the last 6 years. Inspiring 👏
.
.
Interestingly all the filmmaking workshops that I’ve been to always had a 9:1 ratio of boys to girls. This is for the first time that I’m seeing the opposite. A welcome change indeed! 😂
.
.
Overall if you are an aspiring writer, if TTT comes to your city, do attend their workshop. At ₹399 it’s definitely worth it.

It was not a work.. it was a dream!
It was not the confidence.. it was the passion!
It was not a crew.. it was family!
Those memories will always remain cherished in my life.
