Women’s health startup Health in Her HUE secured $3 million in a seed funding round led by Seae Ventures.

Founded in 2018 by CEO Ashlee Wisdom, the company aims to address healthcare disparities for women of color by connecting them with culturally competent providers and educational resources.

With plans for platform expansion and program growth, including a video Q&A product, Health in Her HUE aims to rebuild trust between women of color and the healthcare system while navigating challenges in fundraising during economic downturns. by @ashleejwisdom

On March 12, 2026, we stood before God, our families, and our closest friends and began the next chapter of our lives together.

We wanted our wedding to feel like a thoughtfully and intentionally designed celebration that reflected who we are — a couple rooted in faith, love, culture, community, and deep gratitude and care for the people who’ve poured into us.

Thank you to the amazing team and vendors who helped us bring the vision of our celebration of love to life 🙏🏽🫶🏽.

We dreamed of a spring garden wedding — blooms, warmth, and new beginnings. And only God could’ve added the finishing touch — a gentle dusting of snowflakes in March that made the whole day shimmer even more. 🌸❄️ #CaseyFoundWisdom

The more I grow as a leader, the more I value how I feel….not just how much I get done. Staying grounded is a priority, too.

A few takeaways from #UNGA week that I’m still reflecting on...

Grateful for the opportunity to join the @wefuplink delegation at the @worldeconomicforum ‘s Sustainable Development Impact Meetings and bring my perspective to this conversation.

Loved running into fellow @howard1867 alums @vicmofo @smallwarner at the @fastcompany Innovation Festival this past week in NYC.

Howard taught us that leadership is service, and that we have a responsibility to build, create, and help shape the world we want to see. It’s always encouraging and motivating to see fellow Bison out here doing exactly that.

Few things more special than having art in your home made by someone you love ❤️.

My uncle made these beautiful pieces for me and James, and knowing his hands shaped something we’ll use and cherish for years makes them priceless to me😌.

One of the hardest lessons of entrepreneurship: you must build the company without becoming the company.

As a founder and CEO, it’s easy for the line between your identity and your startup’s identity to disappear, especially when you’ve spent years building it, raising capital, growing a team, and carrying the responsibility of its mission.

But a company is an entity we’re ultimately responsible for stewarding, not becoming.

You can love what you’ve built deeply, fight for its success, and still remember: your identity is so much more than what you’ve built.
