It was a great Easter and a great weekend to kick off spring break. So grateful for time with all our lovely family members. Also Happy 40th Anniversary to the best parents out there. A fun weekend competing at my 4th Arnold Classic (2nd time in @armliftingusa ). It is always fun to see all the wonderful women in grip. There are so many strong women who push and inspire me. It is always a treat to compete in grip with fellow strongwomen. I had a blast with you Alisha and Jamie! I hit a PR on the Axle (256 lbs) and on the Saxon (148 lbs). The grandfather clock medley didn't go as smooth as I hoped and I walked away with a silver medal in the 80 kilo class. A great weekend watching Andy and everyone else compete. Thank you @riccardomagni1 for hosting such a big event and giving us ladies an amazing stage to lift on. Until next time! by @ashleemunsey

It was a pleasure to have @munsey32 and @ashleemunsey on the podcast @mode_campus. Andy is a world champ in armlifting and Ashlee is a national champ in strongman. Yesterday my sweet Addy girl turned 2. It somehow feels like an instant and a lifetime since we welcomed Addysen into our family. I can picture the look on Aden's face as he held his baby sister for the first time like it was yesterday. Now they are running and playing/fighting together. Their favorite argument is to yell across the dinner table about their conflicting views on NFL football. Addy loves to yell 'TOUCH DOWN SEAHAWKS' AND Aden yells back 'NO GO PACKERS!'. I am not sure if she is truly a die-hard Seahawks fan or if she just already loves pushing her brothers buttons. Either way I love to see Addy's personality emerge, even if that means starting to see her Addytude develop. She loves baby dolls, Bluey, her light up Minnie Mouse shoes, snacks and treats. She is always up for adventure and loves to yell 'Lets GO!' when we leave the house. She loves all her grandparents but Papa Steve seems to have a special place in her heart. Some mornings she cries the whole way to daycare because she wants to see Papa Steve. Usually when we get to daycare she is immediately excited to see Shelly and her daycare friends and get some breakfast. Addy turning 2 means she is no longer a baby which is exciting and heartbreaking all at the same time. I have a lot less pictures of Addy compared to Aden but I find myself soaking in the moments more the second time around than trying to catch everything on camera. At times I get lost in her sweet baby blue eyes or the soft blonde waves in her hair. Her beauty and awe for the world reminds me what is really important. I love you baby girl. You are strong, beautiful, smart, funny and the most wonderful addition to our family. Thank you for choosing me to be your mama. I hope you continue to grow and learn and blossom into the beautiful soul I know you're meant to be, but if time slows down a little that wouldn't hurt my feelings. Last weekend I competed and won the under 80 kilo class at the Arm lifting USA World Championships. @autistically_b_photography captured some great shots of the competition. Competing in front of family, friends, my husband and my kids always make a competition extra special. The moments Brandon captured with my kids mean more to me than my medal. An amazing weekend with family and all our lifting family and friends. I am so grateful to still be competing. Thank you to everyone who entertained Aden and Addy for long days at a fitness expo. 13 years ago I was lucky enough to marry you in front of our family and friends on the beautiful beaches of the Oregon Coast. I am still the luckiest girl around to have shared the last 13 years with you. We were able to visit Rockaway Beach back in June this year. We walked through a rainstorm to get a picture back on the beach we were married with our 2 kids in tow. There is no one else I'd rather walk through the days with rain or shine. I love you Andy today, tomorrow and forever ♥️ by @ashleemunsey

After 6 strongman events last weekend I was still feeling pretty good physically so I couldn't resist jumping into the World's Strongest Grip Competition on Sunday at the LA Fit Expo. I hadn't been training at all for these events but walked away with PRs in all 3 of the grip events. I hit 132 lbs (60 kilos) on the rolling thunder (we were limited to 4 attempts so I think I may have had more on this event), 143 lbs (65 kilos) in the 3x4 s
Saxon Bar and 242 (110 kilos) on the ironing axle. I held the Excalibur with 90 lbs on it for just over a minute but was edged out of 3rd place by an Olympic Rock Climber. Top to bottom the lifters in this competition were LEGIT! It was an impressive field and I had to hit PRs just to hang with them! It was fun to jump into a competition and just compete without too much thought going into it. The ladies in grip continue to blow me away! by @ashleemunsey

We traveled to the LA Fit Expo this weekend and I competed in my first strongman competition in 2.5 years (14 months after having our daughter). I completed 6 events over the course of the 2 days. Finished 2nd in my weight class and 4th out of 6th overall. I am very proud to be back competing especially since it took me 28 months to get back to it after having my son in December of 2019. I walked away sore but no injuries and met a ton of awesome people. The fire is still there now it's time to get better. by @ashleemunsey

Addy girl took her first steps (around 5 total- Aunty Courtney grabbed the last few on video 😍) after our Christmas dinner at my parents house surrounded by a crowd of people and a sea of presents! You may have not won the baby race but you definitely had the biggest crowd to witness your first steps! by @ashleemunsey
