Blue Room Queen clocking out 🌀💙

Running a startup is not for the faint of heart. This summer has had me locked in.

So many challenges. So much to celebrate. 💫

As long as this community keeps showing up, nothing can wipe the smile off my face. You make it all worth it 💯

Catch my last class tomorrow at 6:30 PM (Strong Slow Flow in the Blue Room) before I say ✌🏾 for a well-earned mini vacay.

Happy *adoption* birthday to Lionel (pronounced: LEO-NEL), the Block’s favorite cat. 🎉♎️🦁

🐈‍⬛ He likes his coffee black
🐈‍⬛ He prefers bolsters to yoga mats
🐈‍⬛ He loves Halloween but not the costumes
🐈‍⬛ He is a ladies man and has so many aunties
🐈‍⬛ He does not like to Citibike
🐈‍⬛ He is a terrible bodega cat (we’re working on it)
🐈‍⬛ He is betrothed to Puff, daughter cat of @zeemiwu
🐈‍⬛ He is the shadow of @ashleighbello 🖤

Summer in the city was such a drama. I danced onward. Here’s the lookback. 🎭

It’s been a hard year and not easy letting go of versions of myself I’ve outgrown.

The right people showed up ❤️ The wrong ones spirited away 👻

In the end, the person I am today is the strongest one yet.

I’m grateful that seasons change, and for the opportunities to learn and grow. I’m grateful to return energy to myself and my goals. 🍂

Let’s see what happens next. ‘Tis Libra SZN after-all. Happy October 1. ⚖️

Portugal, we miss you already. 🇵🇹❣️

Our first Off the Block retreat (as a studio!) had so many epic chapters. Each one better than the last.

We leaned into Aparigraha: letting go of attachments to find peace and freedom in the present. 🕊️

The best part: connecting with community and leaving with new friends 💫

S/o to your host @ashleighbello + co-teacher @zeemiwu for taking good care of this crew 💯

And ty to @noirhathorsounds for closing us out with a special sound healing meditation 🌀

🦚 @cocoonportugal - we’ll be back

I’m a poet and didn’t know it 🌊

Getting back to writing and expressing myself without filters of judgement.

Ty for reading and holding space for the vulnerability. Life is a rollercoaster ❤️
