A random getaway turned into one of those weekends I wish I could bottle up. 🌲🤍

We packed up, headed into Olympic National Park, found a little swimming hole in the river, and basically disappeared from the rest of the world for a while.

No schedules. No noise. No notifications. Just cold water, the forest, camping, and each other.

Sometimes the best memories aren’t the ones you plan months in advance… they’re the ones that happen when you decide to just go.🏕️

More of this. Less of everything else.

I don’t think any photo will ever do the Tetons justice.

They don’t even look real…they look like someone painted them onto the horizon. 🏔️

This stop on my solo car camping road trip was one I’ll never forget. I jumped into an ice-cold glacier-fed lake beneath those iconic peaks, watched free-range cows wander past my campsite as the sky exploded into one of the most incredible sunsets I’ve ever witnessed, and ended the night lying beneath a blanket of stars with the Milky Way stretching overhead.

No hotels. No itinerary. Just me, my car, endless mountain views, crisp alpine air, and the kind of silence that reminds you how beautiful it is to slow down.

Some places leave you with memories. The Tetons leave you speechless…and already planning your return.

A little throwback to one of my favorite solo adventures. 🌵✨

There was something so freeing about driving the vast, empty roads of West Texas and Big Bend with nowhere to be but wherever the next view took me. Every mile brought a new landscape, and the silence out there was just as breathtaking as the scenery.

One of the best surprises was all of the wildlife. I spotted donkeys with their babies, elk with calves, wild pigs, and so many other little moments that reminded me I was just passing through their home.

Standing along the Rio Grande was surreal. Looking across at Mexico and realizing it was close enough to swim across really put into perspective how unique that part of the country is.

Big Bend and Guadalupe Mountains National Parks gave me exactly what I didn’t know I needed—solitude, adventure, and a reminder of how incredible this world is when you take the time to explore it.

Still one of the most unforgettable trips I’ve ever taken. 🤍

From exploring the history, wildlife, and wide-open landscapes around Buffalo Bill’s hunting lodge in Wyoming to winding through the rugged beauty of the Badlands in South Dakota, this road trip was packed with unforgettable views.

Long stretches of open road, unexpected wildlife sightings, dramatic rock formations, and a night spent car camping with a herd of cows as our neighbors. The kind of adventure that reminds you some of the best memories happen somewhere between the destinations.

POV: You visit Congaree National Park and immediately become part of the food chain. 🦟🐍🕷️

The bugs were relentless, the spiders were thriving, and every stick looked suspiciously like a snake. But the insanely tall trees, lush greenery, and wild untouched beauty somehow made it worth it.

Bonus points for getting to play turtle crossing guard and helping a turtle safely across the road.

Glad I went. Not entirely convinced I need to go back.

85° in Lassen ➡️ 35° at Crater Lake in less than 24 hours ❄️☀️

One day surrounded by wildflowers, waterfalls, and sunshine. The next, standing above the deepest lake in the U.S., staring at water so blue it looked unreal and Wizard Island rising out of the middle like something from another world.

National park road trips just hit different. 💙🏔️

Birthday trip photo dump, part 2 ✨🏔️

Still not over Lassen. One minute we were surrounded by snow-covered peaks, the next we were walking through fields of wildflowers, chasing waterfalls, and spotting deer and baby fawns tucked into the meadows. The contrast in this park is unreal.

Forever adding this one to my favorites. 🤍
