2024 was big. It’ll take me well into next year to process everything. A LOT of love and a crushing loss. A new job for me and a lot of job changes for my husband. Lots of engagement parties and 4 weddings. Getting married! Losing my best friend 3 months later. Parental visits and lots of time spent with family. A new tattoo! And of course Juno. A devastating election and fear for the future.

Uncertainty. Joy. Terror. Love. Soul. Connection. Grief. Those are the words of the year. Hope next year brings… stability, and more joy. I hope to live every minute and not take anything for granted because nothing in this life is guaranteed. If anything this year taught me that. Shattered to announce the passing of my dear friend Keith. To know him was to love him. Deeply. I can’t believe some of my last memories will be of him by my side on my wedding day.

If you can, please consider donating to assist with getting his sister @christinamckellar and his mother @jmckellar1 back to the Czech Republic so they can be together during this difficult time in hopes to begin the healing process.

Keith, I will miss you forever. 💔
