Finally posting about this incredible trip to México. One of the most magical places, and an unforgettable trip with some of my favorite people in the world. What could be better?!

10 years ago today I landed in NYC, and for all the highlights and accomplishments of this past decade, the only things that really matter are the friends we meet along the way 🌻

It’s all about the energy. ⚡️
A guest requested “The Bomb” at the welcome party, but I saved it for the perfect moment during the reception because it just fit them. Transitioning from Funky Green Dogs into those classic horns had the whole barn moving. 🏔️🕺
The bride was out there having the time of her life, claiming it as her favorite choice—and honestly, that’s the highest compliment a DJ can get. 🎧🙌

“They done messed up letting us in there!!!!” 😤🔥

That’s me on the mic. The groom quoted it back, and honestly, that’s all the review I need.

Brian and Portia brought two worlds together: Midwest meets Jersey, 80-year-olds and millennials, all on one dance floor in a Catskills barn. We’re talking Disco, Pop, and Hip-Hop from the first song to the last. No cell service, a shifted timeline, three systems, and a battery-powered ceremony in the woods, and not one person felt the stress.

That’s the job. Keep the couple present, keep the room moving, and make it feel effortless.

From the first inquiry to 11:00 PM, clean transitions, seamless coordination, and an unforgettable night.

Shoutout to Brian and Portia for trusting the vision. 🥂

"What if we're not hispanic?"

Not only am I a proud resident of the world's most diverse county, but I grew up in genuine cultural diversity. Having white American, black American, Southeast Asian (and more) neighbors and playmates in the Seattle area helped me have a more diverse music taste.

If you choose records that are important to you, I may already have them, or will be excited to play them for you and play them when the time is right, as seamlessly as possible.

That's why this pre-dinner set had authentically curated deep cuts in addition to the usual family friendly, nostalgic early hours selection.
