I’m not going to lie, I’m so freaking proud of the woman, the producer the boss I’ve become and I’m starting to just own it. I always said “I’m not just an actor or a reporter, I’m more like a showrunner and now I am started to really see God put those pieces together and it is so freaking cool when you just choose to surrender to his calling.

No one tells you what it takes to become HER

you have to be HER… the person who is typically saying no to most of the “fun “activities that everyone else is going to so you can stay in and burrow and build…

The person whose husband brings her dinner bc your at your desk until 8pm most nights trying to master software that keeps failing

The person who has to continue to put on a bright smiling face on camera even on days when you’re not feeling well you just wanna crawl into bed

The person who has to master not only their craft, but manages teams, learns email marketing, juggling multiple focuses, projects and running on adrenaline…

The person who suddenly becomes the “i will figure it out… there’s always a way”

The one who sometimes crashes out on your carpet and taps your dog to bring back up the energy

Pumping people up to believe in their visions

While simultaneously giving yourself some days where you watch your favorite Mindy Kaling show and remember what it’s all about

There are moments in your life that completely change the trajectory of your future.

For me, it was deciding to keep going.

Not because I suddenly became more talented or because the “algorithm” suddenly liked me.. but because I finally stopped trying to do what everyone else was doing and finally built a system that worked.

Worth the Money: YouTube Edition 🎥🙌🏼

One thing I learned quickly in news is that the audience will forgive video quality 10 times faster than they will forgive audio quality, investing in a great audio set up, will transform your content.

This is probably my number one tip for newer creators, and I say this out of love from someone who started their channel by blogging and spending so much freaking time editing even though I already had 10 years of editing experience from working in the media industry… Editing can slow you down so much and when you are newer to finding your voice, I think the best thing you can do is less editing and executing faster… Let me know your thoughts on the comments! #YouTubeCoach #YouTubeProducer #ContentCreatorTips #creatorhive #jjyapchallenge by @ashleybornancin

There are seasons when we fight so hard for the life we think we’re supposed to have… only to realize God has been gently calling us toward something even better.

If there’s one word that has shaped the last six years of my life, it’s surrender.

Walking away from Hollywood wasn’t part of the plan I had written for myself. But looking back now, I can honestly say I wouldn’t trade God’s plan for my own. Every closed door, every unexpected turn, every “no” led me exactly where I needed to be.

You can’t outrun God’s purpose for your life. You might delay it. You might wrestle with it. But there is so much freedom waiting on the other side of surrender.

If you’re in a season of letting go, trust that God isn’t taking something from you. He’s leading you to something greater.

OK, it was on my heart to de-influence. You tonight of what really goes through all of our minds whether we are creators, whether we are business owners coaches. This is truly how we all feel posting online until it gets to a certain point where you truly do not give a Frick, but that really only comes as annoying as it sounds when you just keep putting in the reps. the way I see it you only have two options

1 - you build in public and share all your feelings, transparently and take us on the big cringe, loser journey, which could be awesome and is a really fun journey to watch

2- you just embrace the “fake it till you make it “and you just pretend you’re your most confident Sasha for yourself… I’ve seen both work. I think it’s just up to you and what you’re comfortable with.

The biggest lie creators believe is that the ALGORITHM HATES THEM. (And if you've ever felt this, you're not alone, honestly... we all have)

Think about... have you ever said to yourself...

“It’s the algorithm.”
“I’m shadow banned.”
“YouTube just isn’t pushing my videos.”

What if none of that is true?

The algorithm isn’t your enemy. It’s feedback.

Every video is teaching you something about what your audience actually wants to watch. The creators who grow aren’t the ones who blame the algorithm. They’re the ones who learn from it, adjust, and come back with a better episode.

Stop trying to beat the algorithm.

Start building a show people can’t wait to watch.
