Surf, sunsets, friends, fishing, music, memories. A great time in Costa Rica. Make sure to surf with @surfbreakcostarica and go see @maxmaxmusic. 🏄‍♂️🏄‍♀️🏄 @kevinlaverty @jluis_contreras @kath_rodriguezr @annadimondcreates + Jim. Excited for ski season but not until December. Had to put this somewhere since I don’t always get a drone shot of me skiing from a 20,800’ high volcano in Bolivia with only Pedro @bolivian_mountaineering, Pepe, and I on the mountain 🗻🙏

Grateful for borrowed old ski equipment with loose boots that fit though (!), hot pow, Pedro’s expertise, and drone video. Highly recommend #Bolivia! taken in Sajama National Park by @ashleylsmith

Nepal Part 2/2
Thanks to @marvel.adventure for setting it up so I could make an efficient trek to Mera Peak 6461m / 21,198ft (already being acclimated), hike, ski, and make my flight back in time. Again, the people, place, and activity were a dream. 🙌 Views of five of the 14 highest mountains in the world, constant laughs, memories made, and good times. Part 1 of 2. One month in Nepal 🇳🇵
So lucky for the people who made this trip what it was, places I got to be in, and fun that was had here

Many laughs, memories made, miles walked, nights in a tent, a few helicopters, motorbike rides, four days of dirt road Jeep rides, river crossings, new friends, old friends, good food, and mountain views. Boulders to make more ‘first ascents’ on (and break holds and eat it), seeing a place most likely no westerners have gone before (?), and getting to experience what an ‘expedition’ is like. Full soccer team with trophy in hand riding on top of our Jeep, homemade liquor, sleeping on a generous local’s house roof, puja ceremony, alleged wild tiger by the trail on the second trek (heard the noises and shook a tree), and learning about the local people, history, and culture.🇳🇵Dang.

Two missions:
-‘First ascent’ of an unclimbed, unnamed, 6000m+ peak thanks to the team’s efforts (new name the team decided on - Sanu Khangri)

-Mera Peak ascent and ski down 6461m (following posts’ pics); a punchy grabby wind crust for skiing but views of Everest, the surrounding mountains, and a few good ski sections made it all worth it 🙌

Many people were the ones who actually made it all happen, I’m just a participant, and I can’t thank them enough. (tagged)

Would recommend trips by @himalaya_alpine_guides if you’re looking for something different. They go all over the world.
