"K-Pop Boy Group" and "Pizza Commercial" weren't two phrases i expected to hear in a brief this year.

Despite not being HYBE entertainment (or any other K-Pop agency for that matter), we still managed to have some fun with this spot.

Special Shoutout to our casting team who found us our 7 idols and our post team who did an amazing job creating our colourful K-Pop world.

Just directed this commercial for my inner child, the little girl who spent most of her pocket money buying pokémon card packs after school. I think it’s safe to say she would’ve bought all the merch in this too 🙈

When the brief is to make it look cold and icy… Using a combination of manual matte painting, midjourney generative AI and some stock videos, anything is possible 🧊

Sometimes you get those projects that mainly use stock videos and you gotta somehow jam in a transition to make it work 🧐 Really had to play up the effects for this one for it to be smooth!

Didn’t think making Pierre Png magically appear would be in my 2025 bingo cards but this job never fails to provide me with new challenges 🤷🏻‍♀️ Much like everything else in this particular project, there was so much to experiment with and conceptualise during pre-production, needed a real long break after this one 😮‍💨

I would truly be rich 🤑 I hope you’re not sick of all these transitions by now (if you are then take it up with my directors 🤪)

I’ve lost count how many time I’ve transitioned into or out of a newspaper through my career… But somehow it always mind-fucks me for a moment when I’m trying to merge 2 footages using corner pins and transformations 🤨

This was a tough one to conceptualise (especially because I’m not really a fan of crafting effects), it look quite a bit of time to get the final look during pre-production but ultimately was pretty cool 😎

Saving lives with VR?! Have a love-hate relationship with crafting such looks with a combination of effects, because they hurt my brain but seeing the end result always satisfies me!

Just a little sprinkle of VFX magic to enhance the shot! Simply adding textures to the surroundings and a little atmosphere can really add to a shot like this to make it feel just right!
