New Orleans, you beautiful broad, it was an honor and a privilege. ✨
Grateful to have spent the second-to-last Sunday of 2025 with my gal @ashleyrosee5 , watching the New Orleans Saints bring home the W. Plus, I made friends with everyone wearing a Colston jersey.⚜️

We took over Mid-City, ate very well, kept our winning streak alive (every game we watch together, we win) and so much more.

First stop: @pechenola
Admiral oysters, shrimp toast, kale salad, squid-ink capellini, and briny martinis with fresh dill.

Sunday night, we topped off the WIN at @thebellnola , a newish British pub next door to Café Degas. More oysters, fishmonger’s pie, smoked trout dip, scotch eggs, endive salad, and sticky toffee pudding…while the great IN-dive vs. ON-dive debate raged on. #tomatotomahto

The only moment that wasn’t pure joy?
Being reminded that @steinsdeli is closed on Mondays. #sendstoltzfus

Until next time, New Orleans. ✨💋⚜️

It was an incredible day with friends, old and new @blackpotcookoff! Started off with almost everything from @luciabakehouse!
Congrats to @tannerdimmick for placing 3rd in gravy and to @sullivanzant for making one of the most incredible gumbos I’ve ever experienced. The man deserved a W if you ask me! @jaycabernet’s venison sausage gravy and the #gravyboys represented beautifully. @lache_pas_boucherie also put out some award winning gravy and boudin to boot! After all that roux, we had to show some love to the Gravy Boy that had to hold down the fort @vestallaf. @jordonkonow has put a roasted beet hummus on special that makes my mouth so dang happy. I’m SO PROUD of the generation of food loving folks and talent that are carrying on a community of traditions that represent some of my favorite times with friend, mentors, and peers. It was a good day. And as always… thanks to @treylamastus for being my dance partner in life. taken in Vermillionville Lafayette Louisanna by @ashleyrosee5

There’s been a whole lot of birthdays in our family over the past couple of months(with another one around the corner,) and not a single one would have existed if it weren’t for this man right here! Happy Birthday to my dang daddy, Captain Butch! The best friend, father, and BB, a motley krewe of kids could ask for. We love you so much and are so grateful for you and all you do! taken in Lafayette, Louisiana by @ashleyrosee5
