1,000 days. One thousand days of waiting. And finally, S2G are World Champions again. 🏆

This is a bittersweet kind of victory.

It had been more than 1,000 days since S2G last stood at the top of the world. In those 1,000 days, there were more than 700 days when they couldn’t even make it back to the World Championship.

But they kept going.

The last time S2G became World Champions, HamsiG was still a 17-year-old prodigy. Today, he is one of the foundations of this team — no longer the wonderkid chasing his first title, but the cornerstone carrying S2G back to the top.

Solkay joined S2G not long ago, but he had already spent more than 8 years fighting his way through competitive PUBG MOBILE. 8 years of waiting. 8 years of trying. And this is finally his first World Championship.

Lost and Kam1kaze arrived at S2G at the beginning of the year after struggling to find their way. Some called them overlooked. At S2G, they became the future everyone started talking about.

That’s the thing about waiting.

Waiting hurts.
And continuing to believe while you’re waiting deserves respect.

For more than 1,000 days, S2G waited for the right moment. They endured the doubts, the criticism, the jokes, the setbacks. But through all of it, they never stopped believing that they belonged on this stage — and that one day, they would return.

Today, they did.

Because you don’t become a World Champion because of one victory. You become a World Champion because you survived a thousand defeats.

2025 taught me many things.
Mostly how to live in airports, survive WhatsApp groups, and stay calm when plans change for the 10th time.
Somehow, it was still worth it. Grateful for the people, the chaos, and the stories.

Esports isn’t always about happy endings. But it is always about passion, growth, and unforgettable stories.

This season of PMSL EU had it all —
Smiles and tears, trashtalk and brotherhood.
A couple got engaged, female players shouted out to the world that they are chasing their pro dreams, disabled players found joy and community through PUBG MOBILE, and a father drove 1,200 kilometers just to cheer for his son.

Bittersweet.

Only one team from CA made it through to PMWC—proud of them. But for the rest of our CA teams, this spring has been a journey full of heartbreak and almosts.

Too many close calls. Too many “what ifs.”
