This weekend was a dream! I could not ask for a better first trip down to Indian Creek. We had perfect weather and an even better crew. Thanks Doug, Emily, and Joe. Love you all. 💛💛💛

On day 1, we met Mike who so kindly taught us some off width techniques, and I had so much fun. He was so patient and good at explaining and demonstrating the different techniques. I loved the whole experience. He has some climbing clinics coming up that I'm sure will be chalk full of fun and value.

Since coming back to real life, I can't stop thinking and dreaming about crack climbing. I can't wait to go back.

WIDE WORKS! Impromptu clinic. These fine folks were wide curious, so I got to do the thing I love doing: teach how to work the wide. I’m told they made use of these techniques THE NEXT DAY👌👌👌. There’s a link in my bio to check out the real clinic.

Learn two seasons worth of technique in 3 days. It’s a grueling, good time!

A long awaited 2025 bingo board update. I've made a lot of progress!!! Still no bingo, but it is looking really promising. Of the 9 remaining goals, I think I will get at least 4 more of them. Even if I don't, I'm so proud of completing 15 of my 24 goals this year so far.

A couple weeks ago, we hiked Mt. Borah! It was my second time and @n8brunner 's first time. Now we both have 11 high points completed. It was such a good little adventure and so fun running into @50at4eleven at the summit. taken in Borah Peak by @aspenjane11

I'm on a roll with my bingo board progress! I've completed six goals so far this year, and that feels amazing. In the past couple months, I finished reading a book, summited Mt. Hood, and whipped up some new undies.
Now, I'm off to Alaska to take on Denali! You can spot my packed bags on the bed behind me.

We climbed Mt. Hood! It was so fun. Would you ever do this?

Last weekend, we were able to summit this gorgeous volcano. We flew in the day before and spent the afternoon walking around Portland visiting shops and eating tasty food. We got dinner at Lovely's Fifty Fifty pizza (amazing!) and then drove to the Timberline Lodge. We meet our guide Denis at the trailhead at 1:00am to start the climb. It was warm and great hiking.

@n8brunner and I like to joke that any hiking before the sun comes up doesn't count. We made good steady progress stopping for snacks every hour or two. We climbed up the 1 o'ckock couloir into the clouds before making it to the summit around 7am. We got some views of the valleys below us as the clouds passed overhead, but we were not able to see Mt. Rainier.

We down-climbed back through the couloir and headed down the mountain. We were able to glissade (slide on our butts in the snow) down parts of the mountain. We made it back to the trailhead before 11am!

I honestly loved this climb and would totally do it again. After debriefing with Denis, we got some lunch, took a nap, chilled in the giant hot tub before dinner, and watched The Shining (since the Timberline Lodge is used in that movie).
