Event Postponement to Saturday, 9th August

Due to a tragic loss within our community, we will be postponing our upcoming event to Saturday, 9th August.

Laura was one of the dedicated organizers of the Skate Circle Initiative and co‑founder of Asphalt Sirens Malta, whose passion for skating was matched only by her commitment to inspiring new skaters. She believed deeply in creating spaces where people could come together, learn, and grow through these events.

In her honor, we will continue with this by bringing the community together, skating, and celebrating the spirit she poured into everything she did.

Rest in peace, we will your legacy will keep rolling with us always. ❤️🛼🛹 taken in Msida Skatepark by @asphaltsirensmt

Today is a sad day for the community in Malta.

One of our founders, and one of the bravest girls on 4 wheels has left us.

Her work in co-creating Asphalt Sirens, her work towards an inclusive community for all, a safe space for all, her work with our youth, is something which shall always be remembered - as so many of us have her to thank.

Laura saw potential, pushed people to be the best versions of themselves, and didn't give up even when things got hard.

Her vision was to create a safe-space, focused on females but open to all, to enjoy the sports we all love - and the people she inspired will continue her legacy and work towards her vision, with her memory as guidance.

Laura, your smiles and laughs will forever be imprinted in our hearts, and the cement of our skateparks.

Rest in Peace 🕊️ We love you 💕

Those wishing to attend the last goodbye can do so next Saturday, 9am, St.Maria Parish church, Attard. by @asphaltsirensmt

During this workshop participants learned not only all the basics of skateboarding, but got their hands dirty, dismantling and setting up new skateboards 🛹
