Attention, this is NOT Pilates, but it has made my Pilates practice, life & lower back sexier, better. (I know there’s a perception that Pilates is all kinky looking apparatus, rolling about, hip thrusting & doing sex-ups in leotards.) This move is not Pilates, it’s Functional Range Conditioning. I’m doing Spinal CARs on a Pilates Reformer.
⠀
All day long, while I’m waiting for clients, when I’m in the carpool lane, while the kids are getting ready for bed, when waiting to check out at a store or on a call I try to move every joint in my body through it’s largest Controllable Articular Range of motion- that’s what CARs are.
⠀
In order to do more cool shit, I have to maintain my joint health and mobility, so I put in 1 minute, 5 mins here and 10 mins there all day long. You could do this between Zooms, nobody has to know. You’ve got to put the work in if you want your body to feel better. Let me know if you want juicier joints too! ⠀

This is 46. Playing mermaids by the light of the moon. Free falling, deeply in love with it all over again. Night swimming + days dreaming. Learning to release, to surrender, to let God. Softening, even when I tread on rocks.

Thank you to everyone who has purchased something from me this past year! You've meant the world to me and my family in an incredibly difficult time!
⠀
We have been blessed with earth angels & find ourselves grateful for the clients, friends & family who have kept us going these past few years.
⠀
I am lucky to have aligned with AGADA an incredible Woman Owned integrative health & wellness clinic. I love the freedom of designing my own days, I am doing what I love for a living & still get to be the kind of Mama that my kids require/deserve. It's been a natural progression to get to this moment- opening my own studio. And I HAVE SURVIVED MY FIRST YEAR OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP. Thank God! I am blessed to have found mí gente, a community of friends, business partners, mentors, clients & customers are the salt of the earth, the best of the best humans. It's my sincere privilege to systemize & simplify processes that help people achieve their individual health & wellness goals!
⠀
Thanks for all who have purchased Pilates, nutrition session from me or products for my virtual health & wellness boutique. I am privileged to partner with you and grateful you have entrusted me with your self care. Thank you for your business. ¡Gracias a La vida!

January 1st was the 50th anniversary of my parents big (she's the oldest of 8) Mexico City Wedding. Somehow, these two kids from two very different families, cultures, worlds took a leap of faith, got & stayed married. He saw her and he knew she was the one. It's not always easy, but they are deeply committed to doing right by each other, our family & the world. We spent the day together, watching their Wedding movie, broke bread, toasted to love, told stories, laughed & celebrated their love & life together! It was very sweet! Happy New Year lovies!
