come with meee to the Strand for the launch of Once in a Timeline🩷💚

so sorry for the glitch, i’ve posted it like five times and it keeps happening 😩 we need that fixed asap!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Laia Grace is yours and everyone’s favorite internet personality. she has all the beauty and life hacks and shows how easy it is to maintain the most perfect life. or so it seems, since she’s stuck in an infinite time loop of her “perfect day in the life” vlog. unaware that she’s in this time loop she keeps reliving the same day until things start to not be perfect and she meets our brooding Noah who is intent on helping her out of this since he is also stuck in the same loop. but what will they uncover about themselves and each other as they go on this mission? is Laia able to shed off her internet personality even offline long enough to be honest with Noah and herself? what happens if she does?
this book was so incredible! i went in thinking i was going to have a good old fun time in a quirky little internet romcom of a book and while it was that and more, it was also equally thought provoking and had a depth to it that was so surprisingly wonderful. Iman has quickly become an auto-buy author for me and this novel just stamped and sealed that for me.
it was such a great night listening to Iman and Joss talk about this book. when i saw the opportunity to see these two in conversation i could not pass it up. they’re both as charming and hilarious as you would think. i already loved them both and now in my head the three of us are all friends — invite me to the next hangout Iman and Joss plssss 🥹🫶🏽
thank you Net Galley and Cosmo Reads for the opportunity to read this as an ARC, it was such a pleasure and i am so excited for everyone else to get their hands on it as well!
which i have an extra copy of, so maybe we do a little giveaway?! 👀
what i read in a week, as a slow reader✨
sometimes we can make all of the plans, schedule all of the posts and still not be able to execute everything the way we wanted to.
because, that’s just life.
it’s always good to have a plan. but it’s also good to be comfortable and okay with plans being derailed.
i thought in the midst of my crazy schedule, i would still be able to make time for my daily reading and recording how much i am consuming while i do so. but the chaos won.
and in those days, i am most grateful for the various mediums of reading at our disposal.
having audiobooks and e-ARCs on my phone readily available has saved me from falling into a reading slump on numerous occasions. at times, with everything going on i am just too exhausted to even pick up my physical book. sometimes reading in the cracks of a busy schedule is popping on the audiobook as i do other tasks or reading on my phone until i fall asleep.
it’s not neat. it’s not pretty. it’s not aesthetic.
but it’s real.
it’s life.
and it’s particularly my life.
i’m here for my book and the view, not her — respectfully ✨
i’m a sucker for a vibey spot and my book! i’m the friend you catch waking up early in the morning cozied up to a book with a view next to me. the scenery is the best accessory to a good book 🪄
