This weekend, our CEO Maian stopped by to support @in_da_bun, a new hot dog cart now serving the Lancaster area.

Owner Bo Miller spent the summer in the ASSETS Idea Incubator, developing his business and perfecting his pitch alongside a cohort of local entrepreneurs.

It’s always exciting to see an entrepreneur take that next step from an idea to opening for business.

Congratulations, Bo! We’re proud to see In Da Bun hit the streets and can’t wait to see what’s ahead. by @assets.pa

ASSETS was in San Antonio!

Our Director of Programs, Lisa, recently represented ASSETS at the 2026 NALCAB National Conference, where hundreds of community development practitioners, CDFI leaders and partners from across the country came together to learn and share ideas.

Lisa also joined a panel to share what ASSETS is learning through our participation in NALCAB’s Makers to Market Community of Practice, alongside DreamSpring, Freedom Equity and Cureate.

We’re grateful for opportunities like this to step outside of the day-to-day work, learn from others doing this work across the country and bring new ideas back home.

Thank you to NALCAB and everyone who made this year’s conference such a meaningful experience! by @assets.pa

An investment in what's next.

Through ASSETS Community Lending, entrepreneurs can access financing to start, strengthen and grow their businesses. Here are a few of the business owners we’ve recently connected with through our lending program.

If you’re exploring funding for your own business, you may be wondering where to start. What’s the difference between a business loan and a grant? When might one make more sense than the other?

We break down the basics in our latest blog, Business Loans vs. Grants.

Head over to assetspa.org/blog (link in bio) to read the full article and learn more about your funding options. taken in ASSETS by @assets.pa

The moments behind the Pitch.

From taking the stage to celebrating the winners, we’re looking back at a night that brought business and community together at Zoetropolis Cinema Stillhouse.

Among the highlights, first-place winner Malia Burris of Live Well Experience was also chosen by the audience as the 2026 People’s Choice Award winner.

The Great Social Enterprise Pitch is also made possible through the support of our community. We’re grateful to our Anchor Partner, @northwestbank, and all of our Community Partners who supported this year’s Pitch.

Take a look through some of our favorite moments from the night, then read the full story on our blog at assetspa.org/blog (link in bio)
