They say we’re “oppressed” and continue making rules that oppress, target and limitate us. Where’s the freedom in that? Or does freedom not count when the subject is muslim women?

What my week looked like >>>💗

I get this question a lot, “Assia, what do you do in your day to day?”. I always found it a weird question because just like anyone else, I also have breakfast, coffee and dinner. Yes, lunch is never had haha! I also go to the gym, work on my projects, go to events, run errands, clear my inbox & messages, work on my business and anything else I have on my to do list that was able to fit in the schedule! And ofc what’s life if there are no sleepovers and movienights with our girlfriends?

A MUST WATCH: EMERGENCY DECLARATION! This was an experience on itself. 🔥

I realized something recently… I grew up believing a lie.
That money is hard to make.

That you have to be extremely smart or study for years and years.

That you need to come from a wealthy family.

That as a Muslim, your options are limited because of things like interest and banks.

But the truth? None of that was real.

Because now, at 26, I make more money than they ever did; doing something I genuinely love.

I didn’t have capital.
I didn’t study for 10 years.
And yes, it’s completely halal.
Nothing shady, nothing compromising my values.

Everything changed the moment I started making my own money.

Those beliefs? They shattered.

And I’m telling you this because I know some of you still believe the same things I once did.

This is your wake-up call: it’s a lie.

You can be successful in your own way.
You can depend on yourself.
You can build a life that actually makes you happy.

If others can do it… why not you?

Because let’s be honest… not every client is YOUR client, and that’s okay!

Here are 3 ways I professionally say no without burning bridges:

1. When you’re fully booked 📆 (You can also use this as an excuse to not take on a project you don’t want)

“I’d love to help, but unfortunately, I don’t have the capacity to take on any new projects right now. I’d be happy to refer you to my colleague X, who may be available to help! Wishing you the best with your project.”

2. When their budget doesn’t match your value 💸

“Thank you for considering me! Unfortunately, I’m unable to take on projects that don’t align with my pricing. If your budget changes in the future, I’d be happy to explore working together. Wishing you all the best!”

3. When they want you to copy another artist’s work 🚩

“My work is at its best when I have creative freedom throughout the process. I don’t copy other artists’ work, as it goes against my work ethics and raises copyright concerns. However, if you’re open to exploring an original concept that aligns with my style, I’d be happy to help!”

✨ BONUS HACK:

Sometimes, I quote double or triple my price when I suspect a client’s budget won’t align with my rates and when I don’t find their project enjoyable. If it’s not the right fit financially, they’ll politely decline themselves.
And when they do? I simply say: “No worries at all! Wishing you the best!” 🥳

No awkward conversations. No guilt. No compromising your standards. You know your services are amazing. And you don’t have to satisfy everyone to prove it.

Remember: you don’t have to say YES to every opportunity to build a successful business. You choose who to work with. You’re the boss.

Protect your energy, know your worth, and trust that the right clients will find you. 🫶

What are you willing to give up for the sake of greatness?

Is it your comfort, your junk food, your toxic environment, your lazy friends, or your wasted weekends?

What version of you has to DIE so that your dream self can finally take the lead? How can you make sure that identity shift goes smoothly?

👉🏻 Here’s what I would do, I would take a list and write down TWO sections and a line down the middle : ME NOW & MY BEST SELF. Write under them what their habits are, where they live, what they do, who they’re surrounded with, what their day looks like, what their wardrobe looks like, what their hobbies are, what they eat, where they go, how they feel, how they look, what they like, what they earn and who they spend time with. Everything you can think of that makes them who they are, add it to this list. And of course be completely honest with yourself when it comes to your current habits even if you know they’re lacking or need improvement. In your current ME section you put everything the way it is. Make sure to fill the whole list.

Now.

Now that everything is on paper, you will see the difference very CLEARLY. If these two people would never hang out together or are THAT far from each other, then it’s very logical that your life is not where you want it to be. This means 👉🏻 WE got some REAL work to do.

Only if you change who you are now into the column on the right, will you be able to attract your dream life and be so transformed that people will not recognise you anymore. And that’s what I want you to do. I wish for you to wake up, feel so empowered and happy in your dream life that you get excited to live it!! 😍🔥

So let go of the things that don’t serve you, and take on the habits that will serve you. Once you copy pasted her habits into your life, the results will show up for themselves. ✨

You don’t have to wait for January to change your life. You can do so RIGHT NOW.
