Big news — I'm mentoring at the #StartupCanadaTour when it lands in Victoria! 🇨🇦✈️ @startupcanada

On September 29th, I'll be at the Victoria Conference Centre as part of the Ask the Expert Lounge, running a session on Support for Women (10:45–11:30 AM) and mentoring entrepreneurs on Sales & Business Development.

If you're a Victoria entrepreneur navigating rising costs, new tech, and a business landscape that keeps shifting under your feet — this full day of expert talks, hands-on workshops, and real networking is built for you. I'd love to meet you there and help you build the systems and clarity to scale with less overwhelm.

🎉 Big news! Ontario Assistant has been nominated for the 2027 Canadian Choice Award in the Consulting Services category for Kitchener! 🏆

This one's personal. I wasn't trying to start a business when this all began — I was just trying to fix my back. 📞

After having my son, the pain was bad enough that I needed help fast. Ten physiotherapists, ten voicemails. Only two ever called me back. I remember thinking I'd have paid anything for someone to just get me in the next day.

It wasn't that the other eight weren't good — they just didn't have anyone catching the leads before they slipped away. That gap is where Ontario Assistant started, and it's the same gap I still fix for clients today.

Being nominated for this award means the world. Now I need YOUR support to become an Official Nominee — nominations close October 31st, 2026!

Your goals work harder when you see them every single day 🎨

I keep a visual board in Canva as my desktop background and update it whenever plans change. It's a small habit that keeps your planning pointed at what matters most.

Make yours this week and tag me in your stories so I can cheer you on 🙌. When you're ready to build the systems that get you there, the link in my bio is where we start.

If you needed a sign, I'm pointing at one.
You didn't start your business to spend Sunday night untangling a CRM or chasing down a new hire. We'll take that part: events, team training, HR and recruiting, CRM and tech management, and the rest of what's eating your week.

You take the long weekend with your family, or the trip with friends you keep pricing out and never booking.

Book a call at ontarioassistant.com.

Thanks for the cameo @creativedynamicsva

Imagine the person planning your systems also knowing exactly how the work gets done 🗺️

A growing business often needs both: someone to map the plan and someone to carry it out. At Ontario Assistant, OBM strategy and VA support live under one roof, so nothing gets lost between the two ✅

Book a consult through the link in my bio. Together we'll figure out whether strategy, support or both will move your business forward fastest.

Deleting pages from your website can actually help it 🧹

Fewer pages means less for Google to crawl and fewer places for outdated copy to live. Then check your title headings, keywords, meta descriptions, graphics, page speed and mobile version. The mobile version is the one most often missed 📱

Save this and open your site on your phone today. If you'd love someone to handle the whole tune-up for you, it fits beautifully into a VIP day.

The systems that got you here deserve an upgrade as big as your growth 🙌

A quick workflow refresh can cut extra steps and connect tools that used to work separately. It covers both sides: how things run behind the scenes and how working with you feels for your clients ✨

Comment with the process that feels like it has too many steps. Refreshing workflows like that is what I do every day as an OBM, and I'll share how I'd simplify yours.

This year I got invited to the Startup Canada Tour in Victoria, BC and again in Mississauga, and I said yes to both. I run Ontario Assistant from wherever I happen to be, so a laptop, a good coffee, and a packed bag are really my whole office. I'm a founder, a mom, a friend, and a business owner who's always on the go, and working remotely is what lets me be all of those at once. I'm also still learning, and honestly, that's the part I like best.

Always fun to spend time with @creativedynamicsva - thanks Britt! ✈️

Imagine closing your laptop tonight with that nagging project completely done ✅

A VIP day gives your business one focused day of OBM support, start to finish. When the inner workings run smoothly, your clients feel it too. It should feel like relief from the moment we start 💛

Grab your VIP day through the link in my bio and bring your list. We'll turn it into finished work together.

2026 kept me busy with events and client work, and it also pushed me in front of the camera a lot more than I planned. Turns out I love it. I like getting useful information to people in a way that doesn't feel like homework. And in case you missed it, I host Negotiating Happiness on United Public Radio Network, 107.7 and 105.3 FM in New Orleans. We go live on Mondays. 🎙️ Grateful doesn't cover it.

Job title: Online Business Manager.
Actual job: therapist, travel agent, IT support, and whoever finds the file nobody can find. 😅 If you've got a business that needs someone to hold it together, that's me.
