WOW. 💙✨
Faces of Hope 2026 was our biggest night yet!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, sponsors, and community partners, we raised a record-breaking $270,000 in direct program support to help expand opportunity across Chicago. 🎉

From inspiring stories of resilience and transformation to a room full of people committed to building a stronger community, this year's gala was a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish together.

To everyone who attended, donated, bid, volunteered, and believed in our mission: thank you. Because of you, more individuals and families will have access to the health, education, housing, and workforce opportunities they deserve. Check out your work in action in our new short film, SIMMER, made in collaboration with @figmedia.

Here's to hope, community, and a record-breaking year of impact. 🥂💫 Read a full recap of the festivities at the link in our bio! by @assochouse

At 5 years old, Frederick last saw his Uncle Stanley. Ten years later, Stanley was there when he needed him most. ❤️

With the love of family and support from Association House’s foster care team, Frederick kept pursuing his passion for robotics and engineering through a major family transition.

Now, he’s studying Mechanical Engineering at UIC! 🎓

Read Frederick and Stanley’s story and see what’s possible when young people have the stability and support they need. Link in bio. by @assochouse

🏘️ A neighborhood’s history is a reminder of what’s possible when communities come together to fight for housing justice.

Our Association House team recently joined our partners at LUCHA for a walking tour through Logan Square, visiting places that tell the story of the neighborhood’s housing justice movement—and the people who helped shape it.

From the mural at Dill Pickle Food Co-op, sponsored by LUCHA, to the Lucy Gonzalez Parsons Apartments at the Logan Square Blue Line, these landmarks reflect years of advocacy, collaboration, and community-led change. The Elevated Chicago Blue Line Table helped make affordable housing at the Blue Line a reality, turning parking lots into homes when the neighborhood needed them most.

As a founding member of Elevated Chicago, LUCHA continues to lead this work today as Co-Chairs of its Systems Change Working Group.

We’re grateful to learn from our partners and celebrate the organizing, advocacy, and collective action that make housing justice possible. 💚 by @assochouse

🏆 A big win for Encuentro Square!

At last week's @aiachicago Designight, our largest affordable housing development yet received special recognition for excellence in design! We're honored to be leading with a bold, colorful vision of affordable housing in our city-- providing opportunity to the people who need it most, and welcoming them with beautiful, one-of-a-kind design.

Thank you to this year's jury for your kindness and support! 💛 And congrats to all the other winners on this awesome night 🥰 by @assochouse

Congratulations are in order for our Construction Pre-Apprenticeship students! This class worked hard for months to gain the essential skills to launch a career in construction. From reading blueprints to building their very first projects by hand, we're so proud of how far they've come! 👷

We celebrated their success with friends & family last week and gave everyone a chance to see the projects they've brought to life in-person: picnic tables, flower beds, and more.

A fresh coat of paint, a new kids’ play area, a counseling space for our students, and a whole lot of color! 🎨✨

Our friends at @mcdonaldscorp spent a day at Association House rolling up their sleeves and putting their time and talents toward making our spaces brighter, more welcoming, and more reflective of the community we serve.

From transforming spaces throughout the House and at Borinquen Bella to baking treats with our participants, their impact went far beyond a day of beautification. We’re so grateful for the care, creativity, and community spirit they brought with them! ❤️

Our Life Skills Education crew said goodbye to summer with one last dance! 💃

To kick off Hispanic Heritage Month, our LSE dancers held a performance for staff, friends, and volunteers that they've been rehearsing all year. From traditional dances, to numbers inspired by their favorite movies, the audience cheered them on and enjoyed delicious Latin food. ❤️ by @assochouse
