Am 07.10.2026 findet die zweite Sitzung des Studierendenparlaments (StuPa) statt!🏫

Diese ist öffentlich zugänglich, also kommt gerne vorbei, wenn euch interessiert, was im StuPa passiert und was genau die Hochschulgruppen und der AStA da machen.🗣️

Die Sitzung findet ab 19 Uhr in Raum EO162 statt, ist jedoch auch über Zoom zugänglich, falls ihr nicht persönlich da sein könnt. Der Link dafür wird am Sitzungstag in unserer Story gepostet.🔜

In das Studierendenparlament (StuPa) können Anträge eingebracht werden, über die anschließend von den Mitglieder:innen des StuPas abgestimmt wird.

Im letzten StuPa wurden neun solcher Anträge von verschiedenen Hochschulgruppen, dem AStA und dem Fachschaftsrat (FSR) eingebracht und allesamt angenommen.

Wird ein Antrag im StuPa angenommen, bedeutet das, dass der AStA damit beauftragt wird, sich gegenüber der Universität und gegebenenfalls weiteren Institutionen für die Umsetzung des Antrags bzw. des darin formulierten Anliegens einzusetzen. Dabei prüft der AStA die entsprechenden Möglichkeiten und Grenzen der Umsetzung und berichtet dem StuPa über den weiteren Verlauf.

Motions can be submitted to the Student Parliament (StuPa), which are then voted on by the members of the StuPa.

At the most recent StuPa meeting, nine such motions were submitted by various political university groups, the AStA, and the student council (FSR), and all of them were approved.

When a motion is approved by the StuPa, this means that the AStA is tasked with advocating for its implementation with the university and, where appropriate, other institutions. The AStA then examines the possibilities and limitations of implementing the motion and reports back to the StuPa on the progress and outcome.

In der Fahrradwerkstatt könnt ihr euer Fahrrad kostenlos reparieren lassen (ihr zahlt lediglich die Materialkosten, falls etwas ersetzt werden muss). 🔧

Kommt dafür gerne einfach montags von 9:30-12:30 Uhr am Parkring 39 vorbei. Die Garage befindet sich links am Gebäude 😊

Am 1. Oktober findet wieder unsere Blutspende gemeinsam mit dem DRK in den Katakomben statt – und dafür brauchen wir euch! Je mehr Spender:innen, desto besser. 🙌🏼

Und als kleines Extra: Jede Person, die spendet, bekommt ein Ticket für den Schneckenhof am 08.10. geschenkt! 🎟️
Also abgesehen davon, dass man Leben retten kann, lohnt es sich zu spenden!🙂‍↕️

Über den Link in unserer Bio könnt ihr euch einen Termin zwischen 10:30 Uhr und 15:30 Uhr reservieren.

Damit alles reibungslos läuft:
🥗 Esst und trinkt vorher ausreichend.
💚 Kommt nur, wenn ihr gesund seid.
🚫 Verzichtet mindestens 24 Stunden vorher auf Alkohol und THC.
🥤 Für Essen und Getränke nach der Spende ist gesorgt!

On October 1st, we’re teaming up with the German Red Cross (DRK) for another blood donation drive in the Katakomben – and we need you! The more donors, the better. 🙌🏼

And as a little extra: Everyone who donates gets a free ticket to Schneckenhof on October 8th! 🎟️
So, apart from the fact that you can help save lives, donating is definitely worth it!🙂‍↕️

You can reserve your appointment via the link in our bio for any time between 10:30 AM and 3:30 PM.

To make sure everything goes smoothly:
🥗 Make sure to eat and drink enough beforehand.
💚 Only come if you’re feeling healthy.
🚫 Avoid alcohol and THC for at least 24 hours beforehand.
🥤 Food and drinks will be provided after your donation!
And most importantly: Don’t forget to bring a valid ID! 🪪

Heyy 😛 Wir sind Tina (B.A. CELLS) und Lucas (B.A. PoWi), eure neuen AStA-Vorsitzenden!

Wir sind beide seit ungefähr drei Jahren in der Studierendenschaft aktiv und haben in der Zeit schon so einiges an Fachschafts-, FSR oder Gremienarbeit mitgenommen. Jetzt freuen wir uns sehr darauf, gemeinsam in die Hochschulpolitik einzusteigen und natürlich den AStA-Vorsitz zu übernehmen, damit wir uns für eure Anliegen einsetzen!

Uns ist wichtig, dass der AStA nicht nur irgendein Gremium ist, von dem man ab und zu einen Post mitbekommt, sondern eine Anlaufstelle, bei der ihr euch jederzeit mit Fragen, Problemen, Ideen oder einem einfachen „Kann man da nicht irgendwas machen?“ melden könnt. Wir sind beide sehr offene und gesellige Menschen und eigentlich immer für einen Termin, einen Kaffee oder auch den ein oder anderen spontanen Plausch zu haben. 😎🙈

Wir freuen uns auf das kommende Jahr, auf viele neue Projekte und natürlich darauf, euch kennenzulernen! 🫶

Heyy 😛 We’re Tina (B.A. CELLS) and Lucas (B.A. Political Science), your new heads of AStA!

We’ve both been active in student representation for about three years and have gained plenty of experience working with student councils and university committees. Now, we’re really excited to take the next step together, get involved in university politics and of course take on the role of head of AStA so we can advocate for your interests!

It’s important to us that AStA isn’t just some committee you occasionally see a post from, but a place you can always turn to with questions, problems, ideas or even a simple “Can’t we do something about it?” We’re both very open and outgoing people and are always up for a meeting, a coffee or the occasional spontaneous chat. 😎🙈

Hallo! Ich bin Josefine, studiere im 3. Semester Politikwissenschaft mit dem Beifach VWL und bin eure Finanzerin für 26/27.

Zusammen mit unserem Haushaltsbeauftragten sorge ich dafür, dass die Finanzen des AStA alle in Reihe sind und dass eure geilen Events stets finanziert sind!

Außerdem setze ich auch den Haushalt zusammen mit den einzelnen Fachschaften und Referaten auf.

Hi, ich bin Timuçin und studiere im 3. Semester Politik. Ich bin euer Sozialreferent und damit auch für die Sozialberatung des AStAs zuständig. Wenn ihr also Hilfe bei BAföG-Anträgen, Wohnungssuche, Nachteilsausgleichen oder anderen sozialen Fragen rund ums Studium braucht, könnt ihr mich kontaktieren und wir schauen da gerne gemeinsam darüber.

Hii, ich bin Jana, 22 Jahre alt, und studiere im 7. bzw. 3. Semester Gymnasiallehramt Englisch/Deutsch und bin euere neue Außenreferentin. ⭐️

Als Außenreferentin bin ich für die Vernetzung mit den Studierendenvertretungen anderer Hochschulen in Mannheim sowie auf Landes- und Bundesebene zustandig und vertrete die Interessen der Studierenden nach außen.
Meine Hauptaufgaben liegen dabei bei der Zusammenarbeit mit der Landesstudierendenvertretug, dem freien zusammenschluss von student:innenschaften (fzs), sowie mit Organisationen wie "Mannheim gegen Rechts und dem "QZM".

Ich hoffe euch gut zu vertreten in den landesweiten Gremien! :)

Hii, I'm Jana, 22 years old, currently in my 7th or 3rd Semester of the Bachelor of Education for English and German and I'm your new External Affairs Representative. ⭐️

In this role, I am responsible for building connections with student councils at other universities in Mannheim as well as at the state and national level, and for representing the interests of students externally.
My main tasks include working with the State Student Representation (Landesstudierendenvertretung), the fzs (Free Association of Student Bodies), as well as with
organizations such as "Mannheim gegen Rechts" and the "QZM".

ich bin Amandine (sie/ihr), 23 Jahre alt und bin für die kommenden beiden Semester die Gleichstellungsreferentin des AStA.

Ich persönlich interessiere mich sehr für die Themen Gleichberechtigung, Anti-Diskriminierung und Awareness. Mit dem Amt der Gleichstellungsreferentin hier an der Uni möchte ich die Möglichkeit nutzen, mich in diesen Bereichen zu engagieren, sodass sich alle Studierenden auf dem Campus wohl und gesehen fühlen.

Hey, ich bin Luis, 23 Jahre alt und studiere Politikwissenschaft im 5. Semester. Jetzt bin ich die Person, die sich um die Initiativen an unserer Uni kümmert und sie von Seiten des AStA unterstützt - dazu gehört auch, dass ich den Initiativenmarkt organisiert habe. Auch die Planung unserer VS-Events läuft zum Teil über mich: So habe ich den VS Kneipenbummel geplant und werde auch den VS Weihnachtsmarkt organisieren.

Darüber hinaus kümmere ich mich auch sonst ums studentische Leben an der Uni und vertrete die Interessen der Studierenden gegenüber Universität und Studierendenwerk, zum Beispiel in Sachen Nachhaltigkeit oder Sport.

Wenn ihr also Ideen, Anliegen oder Vorschläge zu Initiativen, VS-Events, oder Leben an der Universität habt, meldet euch gerne bei mir!

Hey, I’m Luis, I’m 23 years old and currently in my 5th semester studying Political Science. In the AStA, I’m mainly responsible for supporting student initiatives at our university and helping them with their projects and events. This also includes organizing things like the Initiatives Market. I’m also involved in planning some of our VS events — for example, I organized the VS Pub Crawl and will also be organizing the VS Christmas Market.

Beyond that, I’m involved in student life at the university and represent students’ interests towards the university and the Studierendenwerk, for example when it comes to sustainability and sports.
