Happy Fall! Or it at least feels like it today! I don’t know about you, but Fall is easily my favorite season. I love that first morning when cool air hit and leaves change from green to yellow, orange, red! Fall has always reminded me how kind it is of God to give us change. It allows us to see more of him!

Change can be fun, and it can be not so fun.

College is full of change. We gain or lose friends, go through break ups, move houses, change schools, switch majors, tweak our career goals.

As our bible studies have been going through John, I want to encourage you with this verse:

“All things were made through Him, and without Him was not any thing made that was made” (John 1:3 ESV).

That wording is a little crazy, but think about it: All things were made THROUGH HIM. Without him, not ANYTHING was made.

Jesus is GOD and he is above all things. He carefully and intentionally made you. He is not surprised by the changes happening in your life. He is FOR you. He loves you, and nothing can get in the way of this love- “nothing in all of creation can separate us from the Love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord”, (Romans 8:37-39 ESV) and His love is like no other love - it’s agape, unconditional, steadfast love.

So whether the season of life you are in has fun or difficult changes, the answer is the same - God LOVES you. I’m challenging you to believe that today and lean in, even if in this particular moment it doesn’t feel like it. God is capable of using every situation for his glory and our good.
