POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We’ve been carefully shaping our next Wild Power gathering, reflecting on what we need as women at this time: connection, nourishment, remembrance and room to let loose.

With Halloween and the pagan festival of Samhain approaching, it feels like a beautiful moment to gather.

Together with ADAMA Events and A Taste of Nutmeg, we’ll create an ancestral altar and share a prayer for our ancestors and loved ones who have passed. A delicious seasonal feast will follow, before DJ Kelda brings us together on the dance floor.

An evening for women of all ages and backgrounds, to honour those who came before us and celebrate our own wild selves.

4 November · The Hairy Barista · Totnes, Devon

We’d so love you to join us. 🕯️

Last Thursday, beneath a beautiful midsummer sky, 40 women gathered at The Hairy Barista for the first Wild Power Gathering.

Hosted by ADAMA Events, alongside Ruth Harris, Meg Evans (A Taste Of Nutmeg) Chloe Isidora of MYMOON Power and (Creative Director) Anouska Beckwith the evening brought together women of different ages, backgrounds, cultures and faiths to share in ritual, connection, music and exquisite food.

What unfolded was exactly what we had hoped for: a space where women could gather around a table, slow down, connect with one another and remember the power of community.

This gathering has been months in the making, with so much thought, care and love poured into every detail. From Chloe’s beautiful ritual and blessing, to Meg’s extraordinary seasonal feast, every element was thoughtfully curated to create something meaningful for the women who joined us.

To witness strangers becoming friends, stories being shared and laughter echoing across the garden as dusk fell was deeply moving.

A special thank you to Naveena Goffer for supporting Meg in creating such a memorable feast & Lulu Barsotti, whose care, generosity and assistance helped the evening flow so beautifully.

And of course, thank you to every woman who attended and helped bring the evening to life.

Wild Power was always envisioned as a seasonal gathering, and we are delighted to share that there will be four events each year, with our next gathering taking place this autumn.

Alongside Wild Power, ADAMA Events will also be hosting a series of beautiful pop-ups and monthly Salon Evenings designed to bring people together through conversation, creativity, food and community. If you would like to hear about future gatherings first, we warmly invite you to subscribe to our newsletter.

Thank you for being part of the beginning of something special.

With love and gratitude,

Ruth, Anouska, Meg & Chloe 🤍

🌟🌈💜 Beautiful, vibrant Meg came on board to chef it up at this year’s Come Bye Banquets, bringing much sparkle, flavour and snazziness to the kitchen 💕🌈🌿

So much love and creative passion was poured into this menu 😍.

Meg and I spent many months curating and heading out on adventures into nature to forage for the treasures that brought this menu to life. Every dish featured at least one foraged ingredient — we hope you could taste the love, high vibrations, and changing seasons sprinkled throughout your plates. 🌿🌺🥜

This year’s wild finds included:
🌿 Elderberries
🌿 Blackberries
🌿 Sea samphire
🌿 Wild plums
🌿 Hog seeds
🌿 Seaweed
🌿 Roses
🌿 Elderflowers
🌿 Fennel pollen
🌿 Wild garlic
🌿 Three-cornered leeks
🌿 Apples

What a sparkling and most splendid weekend spent cooking for @nomadandsparkle @come_bye_festival.
A three course dining experience with the most shiny people in a 13 century barn. What is there not to love?

It was such a joy and pleasure to cook for all those who came for dinner and to relish in the festival antics.
Thanks to all those who came and who were involved.
My heart is full❤️
