Comebye festival ❣️

Wow, what a show! I had the pleasure of helping @atasteofnutmeg run the Smoke and Mirrors Dining Experience at this year’s Comebye Festival.

We hosted around 120 guests over 6 sittings, to enjoy a performance, fire cooking, entertainment, silliness, foraged and fermented delights and an old barn full of the biggest laughs and the most gorgeous decor.

What a joyous festival full of the biggest characters, most flamboyant outfits and literally all the fun.

Hosted at Three Pools Farm in Wales, I have been lucky enough to work a few events here in the later half of the summer and cannot thank the community there more for welcoming me, I have seen baby pigs born that day, herded the cutest Belted Galloways, seen the inner workings of their butchery, tallow production, been creative in the kitchen using produce from the land. I met loads of likeminded people including chefs that have been an absolute pleasure to work with, not to mention all the palomas and lots of fun dancing in the barns with you all!

We are still dreaming of how beautiful Laura and Ollie’s wedding was this July up at the Roundhill Venue up at Kelston.

What a gorgeous venue, we love working up here and highly recommend you have a look at their dates if you are getting married next year.
The views of Bristol and Bath and the passage of the River Avon between is a sight to behold!

Laura and Ollie chose a gorgeous menu and we were lucky to have Mario, masterchef the professionals finalist (@cookingsouls), at the helm, slow cooking leg of Hogget from our friends at @scrumpetboa.

Huge congratulations to Laura and Ollie, what an amazing couple you are and hats off to your friends and family for bringing all the fun!
We wish you a lifetime of happiness and no doubt much fun along the way, we love you guys!

We are so excited to hear what wonderful weddings you are planning next year and we can’t wait to be involved!

We’ve been carefully shaping our next Wild Power gathering, reflecting on what we need as women at this time: connection, nourishment, remembrance and room to let loose.

With Halloween and the pagan festival of Samhain approaching, it feels like a beautiful moment to gather.

Together with ADAMA Events and A Taste of Nutmeg, we’ll create an ancestral altar and share a prayer for our ancestors and loved ones who have passed. A delicious seasonal feast will follow, before DJ Kelda brings us together on the dance floor.

An evening for women of all ages and backgrounds, to honour those who came before us and celebrate our own wild selves.

Next week we gather for the very first Wild Power - the first of many evenings created especially for women.

Co-hosted by Ruth Harris and myself at The Hairy Barista, this intimate gathering is an invitation to slow down, connect and celebrate the power of women in community.

The evening will include a beautiful anointing ritual led by Chloe Isidora of MYMOON Power, alongside a seasonal three-course plant-based supper lovingly crafted by chef Meg Evans of A Taste of Nutmeg.

An evening of nourishment, ritual, conversation and connection.

Today marks NINE years of The Hairy Barista on the Narrows.

What began as a dream to serve exceptional speciality coffee has grown into something far greater than we ever imagined.

Over the years we’ve served thousands upon thousands of coffees, shared endless conversations, celebrated milestones, weathered challenges, welcomed new faces and watched friendships blossom across our tables.

What we’re most proud of isn’t simply the coffee we serve, but the community that has grown around it.

The Hairy Barista has become a place where people gather, creativity flourishes, musicians play, artists exhibit, families connect and meaningful conversations unfold. A place where friendships are made and where people from all walks of life can feel welcome.

Alongside our love of speciality coffee, we’ve remained committed to sustainability, regenerative values, plant-based food and creating a space that nourishes both people and planet.

To our incredible team, past and present. To every customer who has supported us over the years. To the local makers, growers, artists, musicians and businesses we have had the privilege of working alongside. Thank you.

In two weeks we will gather for our very first Wild Power Supper Club at @the.hairy.barista . I am so excited to share that my dear friend @chloeisidora will be joining us for the evening.

Founder of MYMOON Power and author of Sacred Self-Care: Everyday Rituals for a More Joyful and Meaningful Life, Chloe has spent almost two decades supporting women and womb-bearers to reconnect with their bodies, cycles and innate wisdom.

As part of the evening, Chloe will guide us through a beautiful anointing ritual using her handcrafted MYMOON Power oils. Created with high-performance botanicals and designed to support women through the different phases of cyclical living ~ including menstruation, motherhood, peri-menopause and menopause these oils are an invitation to slow down, nourish ourselves and honour the seasons within.

At @mymoonpower, the intention is simple: to create rituals that replenish. Ethically and consciously made, vegan and cruelty-free, every element has been carefully considered, from the botanicals themselves to the mycelium-grown packaging.

Alongside a seasonal three-course supper by @atasteofnutmeg cycle-supportive welcome cocktails and an evening of meaningful conversation, this promises to be a truly nourishing gathering for women.

For the past few months I’ve been working alongside the wonderful Ruth and Roee as Creative Consultant for The Hairy Barista and ADAMA Events, helping to shape some beautiful new gatherings for their community.

One event I’m especially excited about is our very first Wild Power Supper Club, taking place on Thursday 18th June at The Hairy Barista in Totnes.

Created as an intimate evening for women to gather, soften, reconnect and celebrate the wild feminine, the evening will be filled with candlelight, meaningful conversation, welcome cocktails, a seasonal three-course supper by A Taste of Nutmeg, and a beautiful MYMOON Power Ritual led by my magical friend Chloe Isidora.

This is the first of what we hope will become a regular gathering — a space for women to be nourished, inspired and connected in the company of other wonderful women.

Spaces are limited, so booking is essential and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Free Welcome cocktails from 6pm (designed specially for women’s cycle / menopause & post menopause)
Dinner from 7pm

I would absolutely love to see some familiar faces there.
