I don’t totally know what I expected when I sat down with @dakotajohnson , beyond that she might fuck with me a little, in that headline grabbing way she has with most media appearances. But what I found was someone willing to go deep and raw and real about art and life and love and passion. I loved talking to her. I could have done it all day. If you’re lucky to love a wonderful dog for long enough you tend to forget the part of the deal where you don’t get to keep them forever. Hugo passed away suddenly on Saturday afternoon when his big beautiful heart gave out. He had slept in our bed, had his breakfast (and half of Woody’s), gone for a nice walk, and spent most of the day getting loved up and sleeping on a couch with a cashmere blanket and his head on a silk pillowcase, which was exactly what he did most days. There are a thousand more adventures we wanted to have with him (including raising this kid) but we will have to settle for the wonderful ones that we got. We are heartbroken, but grateful to have had him for the 12.5 years that we did. He was the best. I know people say that, but he really was. If you met him, you knew it too. We will miss him forever. 🤍 by @atcodinha

You know, I had a baby last year and it’s 2026 and I keep up with the news, so yeah, you could say I’ve been “tense.” But I just kind of assumed we all were? And then my dentist told me what that meant specifically— a root canal and three crowns to repair the damage I had been doing just by gritting my teeth and getting through my day to day like a good little soldier. And then I’d talk to my friends and new mom groups and strangers and it turned out maybe everyone had TMJ or jaw dysfunction or decades of misplaced tension of one kind or another. And if they didn’t need a root canal they needed something else because of it. So for @voguemagazine September issue I decided to see what I could do to loosen up and realign. For this story I have been zapped with microcurrents, slapped and kneaded like a sourdough boule, prodded and poked until my eyes watered, stretched and cracked (trigger warning on slide 2 for those who do not like audible chiro adjustment videos…) and guess what? It’s both much better and definitely not “fixed”! Turns out relaxation, like health, is an ongoing project. Read all about it in the Sept issue.
