⚫🔴 CONGRATULATIONS, ELLIE RUFFOLO ⚫🔴

Top 50 Catcher in the Midwest Region by Extra Innings Softball

Rank #33

"Anchoring the position with poise, Ellie Ruffolo brings a steady presence behind the plate as a Class of 2030 catcher for AHQ Monroy 13U. She embraces the demands of the position, working to control the tempo of each game and support her battery from the first pitch to the last. A dedicated competitor developing her craft under Nichole Monroy, Ruffolo projects as a backstop whose commitment and upside point toward continued growth in the seasons ahead."

Ellie trains with Coach Lino Figueroa from AHQ DuPage. She has been a rock behind the plate this year and we can't wait to see what next year's rankings bring her!

🏆 STATE CHAMPION! 🏆

A HUGE congratulations to Ruhaani Dev and Barrington Middle School softball team on winning their FIRST-EVER STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!

Ruhaani was absolutely dominant in the circle downstate, pitching ALL 7 innings in all three games to earn the title.
🔥 21 IP
🔥 16 strikeouts
🔥 Just 6 walks
🔥 Only 2 earned runs allowed the entire State Tournament

Ruhaani continues to prove what a tremendous athlete and competitor she is. The composure, toughness, and grit it takes to carry that kind of workload on the biggest stage is something special. She is also apart of our AHQ 14u Regional Team as a pitcher and utility player! by @athleteshqelgin

🏆 LP4U STRIKEOUT CANCER CHAMPIONS ⚫🔴

5-0. CHAMPIONS. 🏆

Our girls showed up BIG this weekend, going undefeated and bringing home our first-ever LP4U tournament championship!

The AHQ we know and love came ready to battle. 💪

🔥 46 hits
💣 6 HOME RUNS — Ellie (2), Neve (2), KK & Alaina
⚡ Aggressive, locked-in base running
🧱 Defense making plays and protecting our pitchers

Every single athlete contributed to this championship. From the circle to the field, at the plate, on the bases and in the dugout—this was a complete TEAM win.

They competed hard, played for each other, and had fun doing it.

⚫🔴 Wednesday night work with Coach Zach. Neve, Alaina and Ireland had a small group session of Advanced Infield Defense. They worked on glove mechanics and turning two. We're excited to kick off this series tonight and looking forward to the next 7 weeks.
