x The Villa pres. Glassz, Friday 17th of October.

Only 2 days left untill we're hosting @glassz.dj in the renowned club of @thevillaoslo - which also marks his Oslo club-debut.

We asked him for a note on whats cooking for his 3-hour set;

"I’m crazy excited about my Oslo club debut, spent quite a lot of time on digging lately so I’m happy to deliver a more techno oriented multi-layered peak time set, but I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t do it my way which definitely is to blend genres and trying to build the tension consistently while surprising the listener around every corner. I love longer sets so 3hrs I got are perfect to properly dive into it together with the crowd on the floor."

This is showcased in his raw n' high-energy HÖR Berlin session, the deep, mind-expanding Monument Recordings set — Glassz keeps pushing boundaries of sound and emotion. Next slides for snippets of his sound!

Oslo residents @atlasmph will be warming up the main room, while @catnip_tech & @alexander.uro will be heating up the Sweatshop all night.

🎟️ We're beyond excited to host Glassz in Oslo, don’t miss this night. Tickets on sale now!

we're heading to @thevillaoslo for another night of deep, groovy rhythms!
______

A 3-hour set will take place in the Main Room by an international guest, well-known to Oslo's underground scene: @glassz.dj

Based in Wrocław, 𝐆𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐳 is the mind behind the SPLOT label and party series, resident and manager at Ciało Club, and booker for Up To Date Festival. A true explorer of forward-thinking sounds, he blends ambient, techno, IDM, breakbeat, and drum’n’bass into dynamic, boundary-pushing DJ sets.

His journey has taken him from iconic Polish clubs like Jasna 1 and Szpitalna 1 to international stages including HÖR Berlin , Vurt Seoul, and SÄULE in Berghain’s basement. Festival appearances include Monument Festival, LAS, Wisłoujście, and a memorable b2b with mad miran at Up To Date.

______

Our resident @atlasmph will be opening the Main Room with his tone-setting selection of tracks.

The Sweatshop will be hosted by @catnip_tech and our resident @alexander.uro , presenting their personal approach on deep electronic music.

there's no other time during the year I spend less time on my phone than being at @soreristeigen 's farm. These pics/vids amounts to 90% of all I caught on camera. But the memories made will be cherished forever. ♡

Mighty impressed by the @mnmt.no crew & volunteers for their effort in making this festival, thanks yet again for another magical year! This is easily something I look forward to each summer, and somehow you create a festival better than the last, every time. Honored for the opportunity to be a part of creating this experience, and be able to stay at the farm for the whole week, again.

I feel recharged, inspired and excited for what's next! I'm also filled with love from all the amazing people I got to meet. 🫶🏻

Big shoutout to @funhouseentertainment , @matsbekk , @driv.work , @melissafollestadlarsen , @shepherdsoundsystems & @huxby_ for always bringing your own magic. 🪄

May we meet again, once the gates re-open. Now we rest, digest, and invest in the days to come.

Love from
your biggest fan. taken in Veggli, Rollag by @atlasmph

The second act of our night introduces Tasteless, also known as Mike.

Upon discovering the underground techno scene in his local town, Tasteless has observed how techno artists, good sound systems and immersive visual arts can hex the crowd into hypnosis. This way of interacting with art through dance, rythm and movement has deeply inspired him ever since.

In composing his DJ sets, Tasteless likes to break down the boundaries of the different techno sub-genres, taking us down novel pathways of discovery into an estuary of the deep, the hypnotic, the groovy and the fast. Mixing dub with the rapid, groovy rythms of genres like hardgroove and the more subtle subterfuge of hypnotic techno.

Mike is also highly involved in supporting our beloved promoters and organizers that work so selflessly to drive our techno culture forward. Also often spotted behind the decks at @thevillaoslo and @ostarabar .

Saturday night they’re back with vengance, two of our good friends and co workers! MIAMI RICE:

MIKE PHUNG delves into the realm of raw, deep, ambient, jungle and dub techno. He values the connections he makes with his audience and to curate unique sonic experiences, that captivates listeners from start to finish. His sets, characterized by hypnotic grooves and entrancing melodies, have a way of transcending sub-genres, and unifying people through music.

DANNY DIZKO straight outta Sarpsborg. He is not bound by any genres. From the hoods of house music and techno basements of Oslo, to the psychedelic bush discos of Australia - Danny always brings his guns cocked & loaded to make your body move.
