Stoked to hear that we won an award on the ‘Turbine Made’ campaign produced earlier this year.

‘The Clean Energy Council Awards 2026
Winner for Communications and Campaign’

This was a 4 month long production spanning from the initial Pre-Productiin to Final Delivery.

We filmed in 3 states (NSW, QLD and VIC)
And delivered 3 final films.
1. The Launch (0:30)
2. Built Different (2:25)
3. Battle Tested (12:15)

The Plastic Country ~ Screening now!

Stoked to finally share a teaser for this major work that @kalglanznig and I worked on for the past 2 years.

This story follows Kal on a journey to uncover Australia’s hidden plastic pollution problem. And the impact it has nation wide on our animals, environment and human health.

This project couldn’t have been done without the help of all the amazing and talented individuals involved.

Special shoutout to our Producer, @_sarahbeard_ for all her constant guidance and wisdom.

After years in the making, The Plastic Country is finally out in the world 🌏

The full documentary is now available to watch free worldwide on YouTube.

We travelled across Australia, from plastic-covered shores in Arnhem Land to supermarket aisles, wildlife hospitals, waterways and Parliament, to investigate what plastic is doing to our bodies, wildlife and environment.

We made this film because Australia’s plastic crisis is hiding in plain sight. But we also made it because change is possible, if enough people care, speak up and act together.

Tonight, our story will reach millions of Australians through @60minutes9 momentum is building, but our future with plastic now depends on what happens next.

Thank you to everyone who has watched, shared, attended a screening or supported this journey so far. I’m incredibly grateful 🫶

An interpretation by a friend,

“The story of a man living with an ‘unsettled heart’
A man who lives in the static, in the “white noise” of his reality. A man with a restless heart, caught between chaos and peace, searching for balance in the noise and stillness of modern life.
He is a man of contradictions, a chaotic heart navigating a world that demands both ambition and serenity, forever seeking equilibrium between the two. He has found a comfortable balance of his masculine and feminine energies.
In which makes him confident and artistic. And he carries this proudly.
Although he carries a storm within him, he spends his days searching for quiet waters, A man trying to reconcile the chaos of his spirit with the rhythms of modern life.
When the chaos grows too loud, he longs for peace and simplicity. Yet once calm settles around him, a restlessness stirs within, drawing him back toward challenge, excitement, and uncertainty. He moves between these opposing forces like the tide between shore and ocean, never fully belonging to either. The more he searches for a permanent state of balance, the more he discovers that balance itself is not a destination, but a constant act of returning, adjusting, and beginning again. And so, the cycle continues…”

An important message shared about the health impacts of plastics as much as the continuing and pervasive and environmental impacts.

@darcy_crump testing out the first ever 100% recycled wind turbine blade surfboard fins. In partnership with @bolerosurf and @acciona

The short doco follows Darcy and Banjo as they tweak the fin for performance, with the final test at the Australian Boardriders Battle in March this year.
