It’s about time I gave a proper shoutout to the only restaurant I regularly insist people try in Barcelona, because it doesn’t exist in guidebooks. It’s the singular brainchild of @puhrez.hace.elforat, who is the sole proprietor, chef, waiter, and record deejay of this 8-seat restaurant in Barceloneta. I have been probably 2 dozen times just to witness the brilliance of his ever-changing, ever growing tasting menu, all served while he entertains the entire crowd with stories and natural wine, and a hell of a lot of great salsa and classic rock. It is my favorite home in Barcelona. It is the one restaurant I wish you’d all go to, because it is so spectacularly unique. And while we both forgot all the descriptions of these dishes over the last four years, please enjoy the photos. He’ll make something new for you next time, anyways.

With my greatest love - please all definitely try out this gem for the joy of a chef and his Spanish / Japanese / wherever-it-comes-from-it’s-good cuisine.

Saw some things, plus some cats, maybe where the Virgin Mary died and maybe where cleopatra honeymooned. IDK. Cruisers doing cruise things. Definitely listened to some DCC.

a story of savories & sunsets. So many thanks to the incredible team of @jana.cechova.delta and @george.papazacharias at @delta_restaurant in Athens for an incredible meal starring even more phenomenal hospitality and the best wine pairing we’ve had in years. What a treat to start my 40th birthday celebration. Those fireworks were ~definitely~ for me ✨🥂

the 20-year-old architecture student in me would be very proud of almost 40-year-old me today. and at least a few ancestors can be proud of how much sun protection I enjoyed it through ~

The best way out is through, but the best program was definitely this year, with these amazing people. Glad to have been a part of this leadership program, so happy we finished in a year of so much uncertainty, and forever grateful I got to do it with the greatest cohort of Voyagers ever assembled. Thanks for putting up with my many, many “nonsensical” speeches about Dungeon Crawler Carl while we tried to figure out how to save the world. I love you all, my fellow Crawlers. You da BEST and I’ll convert you all soon. Love, your forever social chair.

celebrating the last year of our 30s together has been a delight. Jealous you’re hitting the big 4-0 before me, because the next decade is bound to be even more fabulous for knowing you. all my love to the greatest @miss_e_misdemeanor, my favorite feathery friend!
