Dear Lincolnview Marching Band,
I never thought I would hear the words “Band Dismissed” for the last time. I never thought I would only hear one more fight song on a football field, one more horns up call, one more “go to beginning of movement one”. I always knew this would eventually come to end, but now that it’s here, I wish I could go back and do it all over again. Marching Band isn’t just any other extracurricular or sport, it holds so many valuable memories, friendships, and core moments in someone’s life. If I would’ve never gotten asked to play in the marching band as an 8th grader, I have no idea where I would even be. Marching band has most definitely shaped me into the person I am today. It has taught me to be disciplined, punctual, a respected leader, caring, hardworking, and just overall a better version of myself. The friendships I have made will stick with me forever, regardless if it was from my underclassmen, fellow seniors, or past seniors that have already moved on into a new chapter of life. But one of my greatest joys, was seeing how proud I made my family by continuing the Drum Major legacy. Seeing my aunt and oldest cousin at my final band show in tears for pulling off what they did when they were my age was the highlight of my season.
My time as a marching lancer has now come to an end. I will truly miss this, but overall, I am so stinkin’ proud of everyone in my band who showed up everyday and worked their tails off to make the best show for the community to see. It was an honor to stand in front of you all on the podium for my last ever season. I can’t wait to see where this program will lead now that I am no longer there. I hope I get to see my best friends standing on the podium conducting the band one day. But I’m just so incredibly grateful for this program and I love everyone of you.
Thank you Mr. Archinal for bringing me into this loving family and giving me a second home. I’m so thankful to you for your kindness and never giving up on me on days when I doubted myself.
Thank you Lincolnview Band for the memories and thank you my fellow seniors for a great season.

Senior Sunday / Summer Recap ⭐️

I know school hasn’t officially started yet but I wanted to dedicate my first senior sunday to the start of my lasts. I had my first and last drum major camp last week, and now I have concluded my 5th and final band camp on friday. I’ve started my final season as a marching lancer, something that has shaped me into the person I am today. The accomplishments, the memories, the popsicle breaks, the gush and gos, the crazy drumline sectionals, the friendships, and overall, the fun. From my first ever camp as an 8th grader to my final one as a senior.. Back then, I thought I had all the time in the world for marching band, “2027 is so far away”, but now, I wish I had more time. I can’t wait to spend the rest of the season with my favorite group of people in the entire world. If you get a chance to see us in action this year, don’t pass it up. It’s something that means the world to us. To my fellow seniors, thank you for the incredible past 5 years of camp, and enjoy the rest of your final marching band season. 2026 Band Banquet 🥁🎶⭐️

This has definitely been one of the hardest banquets I’ve been to because of how painful it was to say goodbye to the seniors who really shaped me as an individual. I’m so heartbroken to see them go, not just because the band won’t be the same without them, but with how close I’ve become to them and I call each of them dear friends. I didn’t get pictures with all of them tonight but I’m extremely blessed and grateful to have shared the field, band room, gym, & pan yard with each of them for the past 4 years. Getting the honor of being apart of these ensembles as an 8th grader really allowed me to spend so much time with this year’s seniors and saying goodbye to them is truly devastating. Thank you all for the memories, & best of luck in your futures.

Bowling 25-26 : Year 3/4 💙💛

I can’t believe it’s already this time of year, saying my farewells to the bowling season and my seniors. Except this year there’s one more person to say goodbye to. I am so grateful and blessed to have been coached by Neil Korte these past 5 years. Although I didn’t get him much in high school, everything he’s taught me will stay with me for the rest of my bowling career. I can’t believe I won’t get to have him there during my final year as a lancer bowler. So, thank you Neil for everything you have done for this program and for me. Next year will not be the same without you, and whoever is coming up has some big shoes to fill! Until next time, thank you seniors, Neil, and lincolnview bowling. 💗
