Couldn’t have spent the last 5 years better if I tried. I can’t say thank you enough to everyone who helped make the memories with me

I can't believe marching band is officially over. It seems like not too long ago I marched my first show in 8th grade, now I've just marched my last as a senior... I'm so proud of everybody in the band for their hard work and amazing performance, and thank you to all my friends for making this the best year yet. I'm going to miss this ❤️

A love letter to band,

I’ve been sitting here for ten minutes, trying to come up with something smart to say. Do I say how much I used to hate it? Or how it’s the reason I’m friends with who I am? Or maybe I mention the people who got me here? But I can’t find the words to describe how grateful I am to be a part of this amazing program. I’ve had my ups and downs with it, but no matter what, it’s been a constant in my life. It’s crazy to think about how I’ll never step onto that practice field as a member ever again and that this time next year, who knows where I’ll be? I’m forever thankful to my squad, my section, my fellow seniors, and our director and staff members for making this year unforgettable. Thank you all for the best one yet.

All my love,
Nevada
