We have different time slots to suit everyone …

Scooby Doo Style Fun - early sessions, no scares (0-5yrs)
Spooky Family - dusk sessions, atmospheric, fun surprises (6-9)
Intense - proper frights for brave souls (10-13)
Maximum Terror - nighttime sessions - if you dare! (14+ /adults)

No one gets scared against their will - light sabre available for anyone who prefers gentle fun. Our team sees it instantly so no need to worry.

Oh baby!🐒

After a long 5 and a half months, beautiful mama squirrel monkey (Saimiri sciureus) has surprised us on a lovely cold October morning with her sweet little baby.

As primate babies usually hold on to mum for the first few months of life, we won’t know the gender until the baby is a little bit older. But the main thing is, mum and baby are doing extremely well and the whole team are over the moon for the squirrel monkey group!🐒

Squirrel monkeys are extremely sociable so mum has a great big network to help her out. The others will teach the baby valuable skills over time such as foraging, vocalising, playing and any of their natural behaviours!

Huge congratulations to our squirrel monkey troop!🐵

Listen to our squirrel monkeys (Saimiri sciureus) as they explore their fresh browse! 🌿

Did you know that squirrel monkeys have a very fascinating way of communicating with one another? They use a combination of vocalisations, body language, facial expressions, scent and touch to keep in contact with their troop. They have a wide range of calls, including sounds used to alert others to potential danger, maintain contact with the group and express excitement or distress.

They’ll also use subtle body movements and social interactions to communicate with their companions. So even when they appear to be quietly enjoying their browse, there’s often plenty of conversation going on! 🌿

Providing natural browse encourages these clever little primates to use their senses and natural behaviours, making enrichment an important part of their daily lives💚

We had the BEST day at @auchingarrich 🐐🦙🐰

From feeding friendly animals to meeting some adorable but new furry friends, there were smiles from start to finish. 💚

It’s one of those places where the kids can explore, learn, and burn off some energy, while the grown-ups enjoy watching the excitement (and sneaking in a few cuddles too! 🥰).

The animals are so well cared for, the staff are lovely, and the whole place has such a relaxed, welcoming feel.

If you’re looking for a fun family day out in Scotland, this one is definitely worth adding to your list.
We’ll be talking about this adventure for a while—and we’ll definitely be back! ✨

📍 Auchingarrich Wildlife Park, Comrie, Perthshire

If you’re looking for a day out that has a bit of everything, this is it! 🐑🦘🦜

We added on the lamb feeding experience for just £5 per person, with several time slots to choose from throughout the day, and it was definitely worth it! 🍼💛

This has to be one of the best wildlife parks I’ve ever visited. There’s so much to see and do, from the amazing Australian walk-through where you can get up close with the animals, to the talking birds, walk-through duck and goose enclosures, Highland cows, and so many other incredible animals.

The setting is absolutely stunning too, with beautiful walks, rolling hills, and even a campsite if you fancy extending your stay. ⛺️

We also stopped by the café, which serves delicious food made using locally sourced produce. It was the perfect place to relax and refuel while taking in the beautiful surroundings. ☕️🍰

Whether you’re visiting with little ones, as a couple, or just love animals, I can’t recommend Auchingarrich Wildlife Park enough. It’s a place we’ll definitely be returning to! ❤️
