BUCKET-LIST ✅...

It did not disappoint! When @audaciously_sels and I was in Kalkbay this week for unrelated matters, the opportunity to have a late lunch at Kalky’s could not by passed over.

With scrumptious fish and chips, crayfish specials, and fresh seafood offerings straight off the dock at Kalkbay Harbour, locals and visitors to the greater Cape Town area, all flock here for one reason - delicious plates of food, value for money and a quirky ‘mammas and pappas’ vibe. Exceptional dining with not a single trace of the fine. Delectable!

Study the house rules carefully! No dogs allowed, but you're welcome to order a parcel and a glass of wine to sit on the dock with your furry friends. The service is DIY and the pay point is cash only. You are left to your own devices Kids...

The metro rail from town costs next to nothing, and with brilliant low-street charms to discover in Kalkbay, lunch at Kalky’s is a standout budget date with no compromise on the experience.

Never duplicated on franchise, @kalkys_restaurant is the authentic real deal. One of my standout foodie experiences in the Western Cape!

Cappadocia, you were spectacular ✨
My only complaint is that I had to come home. 😂✈️

Some places you visit. Some places stay with you. 🤍

Cappadocia was a little bit of both — surreal landscapes, mornings in the clouds, colours that don’t quite look real and the kind of beauty that makes you pause and take it all in.

Sometimes we wait for a reason to book the trip, take the break, see the world or do something purely because it makes us happy.

Maybe the reason can simply be you.

Consider this your reminder:
Book the trip.
Take the pictures.
Get on the plane.
