The Tourist’s Guide to Lost New York City by Henry H. Sapoznik is confirmed in Best Audio Book, Narration, and Storytelling Recording!

Both of these projects mean so much to me, and are so, so, so, important in our current socio-political climate.

ENDEAVOR features music composed by *living* composers of color. See if you can hear where a man in the audience exclaims “wow!” after one of the pieces. 👏

Today is Music Advocacy Day!

Recording Academy members from across the country are meeting with lawmakers to protect human creativity in the age of AI and ensure music continues to thrive. Add your voice and take action. #MusicAdvocate

This morning, I met with Dane who works with @repmarkpocan to discuss three bills that can help prevent artists from being taken advantage of by AI companies.

“Stay Soft” by @elliejacksonmusic is out now everywhere! Available for purchase on bandcamp!

Recorded at a dream residency at @parlorhotel in Mar 2025 by @silvercitystudios, engineered and mixed by @josh_evert_, and mastered by @audioaudrey. Artwork by @gabriela__riveros.

Recorded with longtime collaborators and musicians from the Milwaukee music community, Stay Soft captures an artist who has spent years quietly figuring out what she wants to say and, just as importantly, how loudly she wants to say it.

Stay Soft traverses landscapes of vulnerability, love, heartbreak, loss, friendship, and challenging the status quo.

Featuring musicians @caleyconwaymusic, @barry_paul_clark, @crumbsonthedrums, @emilyswm, @old.pup, @josh_evert_ , @sarahspacejam (@thenunnery), @vacationcowboy, and @livdo_ww.

The album moves between delicate vocals and distorted guitars, intimate confession and full-band release, vulnerability and resistance.

Family trip to Legacies and Looking Ahead in Chicago!

It was so great to hang with fellow Recording Academy members in the member lounge and see @itsblairelise, @mattbworld, @lilaike perform. I’m so excited about all the work we are doing to advocate for music-makers and it’s extra special when we get to spend time together in person 🖤

Wow!!! So, about last night!

It was the Madison Area Music Association Awards show and I’m so honored to have received the award for Best Producer of the Year for the second year in a row!

Plus “Give Up and Cry,” a song I produced for @paigekleber (with an assist from @stephanie_stuff ) won Best Song of the Year!!!

I’m so thankful and floored to have won this award and for Give Up and Cry to have resonated with so many people. We are working on a whole bunch more songs together so stay tuned!

It was a pleasure co-producing the awards show with @buzzkemper and @dana_makes_music 🖤
