Am I a cliche mainstream Romantasy obsessed fan?
Yes.

Am I delusional enough to imagine I could ride a dragon and not die?
Yes.

Do I love a sprinkle (read: bucketload) of spice 🌶️ and delicious yearning? Hell. Yes.

Do I actively scout out Indie Authors and lesser known Narrators to review and aim to give awareness to their audiobooks and work? Also Yes!

Join me for brutally honest reviews from an ADHD riddled, Audiobook-obsessed member of many Fandoms who has followed the same path as the masses, and gotten back in to the Book World thanks to @sarahjmaas and ACOTAR.

I fell down the rabbit hole into the Romantasy realm three years ago.

I’m never leaving.

Hi @duran.troy

It’s me, Ciara.

So sorry I was late; it’s not you, it’s me.

I didn’t want our ALC journey together to end, and this is why I am so late to review.

Your performance in Tease Me, Book 4 of the Private Listing series by @csberry ? Exquisite.

Your Praise? The praise-y-est
Your Growls? The growl-y-est
Your Dom voice? The dom-y-est

CS Berry kept listeners on their toes in the final instalment of this series- at no point until the revelation was I certain of the identity of the stalker, giving listeners the perfect balance of plot and spice.

With high stakes, action, spice and yearning, Book 4 was definitely my favourite, particularly the epilogue.

The performance quality is one of the reasons this series is such a success, with this cast of narrators giving listeners a second-to-none performance. I will miss this particular cast working together 🫶

Looking forward to future listens @duran.troy @michellesparksvoice @graysonthemic @seanmastersaudio @j.f.harding 🙌

Our Eco-friendly lawnmower brought in to clear the back garden of our new build before works begin to turn it from construction site to back garden 🫶

Never know whether it’ll be a dog or this little man greeting me at the back door 😂

‼️ Azriel POV confirmed ‼️

RB Media have dropped a teaser of the audiobook! What answers are so close?? What are the howls? What is the object? Why does he seem to resent his wings so much? Who are his spies? Why does his shadows seem like sentient beings?

@wingedandwickedreads has Az’s location pinpointed on a map in the comments 🙌

Link to audio sample below and transcript is in the comments 🫶

Immediate thoughts raced to the flame in the cave that Azriel saw; was it Lucien? Is this the terrible idea??

My Hot take?

✨Rebecca tells us who the brother is in Fourth Wing; the last thing Xaden says to Liam on-page is “I know, brother. I know. I’ll take you.”

✨Liam is not dead; we do not see Liam dead on-page. We do not see his body buried or burned.

My theory:

•When speaking their final words together, Xaden tells Liam to channel to save himself

•Rebecca makes a point to tell us that Liam sees the approaching wyvern horde. Deigh is dead at this point so we can assume he no longer has his Far-sight signet abilities

•When Xaden explodes with shadows and screams, Liam channels, and can now sense Venin in the area

•Xaden tells Vi that Liam told him there were two Venin in the horde. How else could he possibly know that number without his Far-sight abilities?

•We do not see his body burned or buried on-page. Xaden tells Vi that his body was laid to rest the day before she wakes. Vi was unconscious for three days, so he was “laid to rest” two days after the attack in Aretia

•On their return to Basgiath, Xaden tells the assembly that they burned the bodies at Athebyne. This contradicts what Violet was told - suspicious 👀

•We know that Brennan and Marbh were allowed to recover in the caves of Aretia in secret after he “died” 6 years ago. Is this where Liam is being kept?

•During Vi’s interrogation by Varrish she hallucinates Liam. What if she was actually Dream Walking? If Liam is being kept in a sedated state hidden in Aretia, he can dream

•At the end of OS, Garrick and Chradh arrive with the Rybestad chest. Theophanie confirms that the Venin within it is the brother Berwyn wants

•Vi does not see who is in the chest with her own eyes, only assumes it is Jack after Tairn describes him as emaciated and sedated. Both have blonde hair, and could easily be mistaken for one another if in that state?

Yes, there are holes in it, but humour me and let me know your thoughts. I’ll happy agree I am utterly delulu and wrong 😂

Kinda hurts my heart that we may never learn more about the 20 year old newly bonded Lilith facing down an opponent like T, and most likely becoming the balance out of sheer desperation in that moment
